Hello and happy holidays from all of us at Kennedy Krieger! Thank you so very much for joining us for our 31st annual Festival of Trees! This year’s event is our first-ever, “hybrid” Festival of Trees. We have so much fun and inspiration in store for you! If you are a longtime guest of our annual Festival, you’ll recognize many familiar and beloved traditions such as the designer-decorated trees and wreaths, the holiday gift vendor market place and our entertainment stage with the fabulous family favorite band, Milkshake, and even a special visit from that jolly guy in the red suit. And, because we’re coming to you as a hybrid event on our special 2020 Festival of Trees portal, there are lots of “extras” to enjoy this year. The trees and wreaths are real and decorated safely in-person, but everything is presented virtually to keep all our guests, volunteers and staff safe. You can now browse and purchase trees and wreaths around the clock. You can browse and bid on dozens of silent auction items online, too. There are “Festival in a Box” gift boxes you can send to loved ones. This year, we have some special celebrities joining us, too. So turn on your smart TV or log on to your laptop, computer or tablet. Grab some hot chocolate and gather the family around to enjoy the fun, all in support of the work we do every day to help children and families from around the country and around the world, live happier and healthier lives.
