I spent the summer after my junior year working with some of the nation’s most seasoned editors and reporters. I lived in Simpson’s CHIP house just two blocks from the U.S. Capitol with other students from all over the country. It was an amazing experience, and I would really like to return to Washington someday.”
At Simpson, I have had an amazing experience. In my first year, I have worked with the Culver Center to host U.S. Senate and House debates, traveled the nation competing in speech and debate tournaments, and worked as legislative clerk for the Majority Whip of the Iowa House of Representatives.”
