KAYA: Filipino Americans for Progress We focus on three strategies to
empower and mobilize
the Filipino American community. Together we can,
build partnerships to increase our electoral representation, advocate for policies that affect our community and, grow leaders to represent us at every level of
government and
public service.
Together we can help
organize to strengthen the voice of our community.

Leadership Development *We launched the only summer educational and leadership workshop series in Washington DC focused specifically on the Filipino community and its role in public policy and government. Through a series of informal workshop and skills building sessions, student participants work with each other, KAYA volunteers, and DC-based Filipino American policy professionals to learn the skills necessary for leadership, develop issue knowledge, and focus on career exploration.
