TERMS OF SERVICE AGREEMENT Terms of service agreement of “Dierengek Katinka” 1.) General 1.1 Dierengek Katinka has a right to refuse customers or assignments. 1.2 Dierengek Katinka has a right to change de terms of service agreement and rates at any moment without giving any reason. You will find those changes instantly at the website. If changes are made to the terms of service agreement or to the rates, you can't demand to use information which was given in previous publications of these documents. 1.3 Dierengek Katinka has a right to pause the service because of among other things: pressure of activities, holidays and illness. This doesn't apply to already made or current appointments. If Dierengek Katinka is not able to look after a pet during an agreed period, due to an unexpected situation, she will always send a good substitute. 1.4 It's possible to hand over a set of keys to Dierengek Katinka during the intake appointment, or you could bring it to her home before the agreed period starts, or you could throw them in her mailbox before the agreed period starts. Your keys and information are being kept safely. 1.5 Just to be sure Dierengek Katinka is able to inform you fast , you need to be in reach during your absence, just in case there is something wrong with your pet or with your house. 2.) Damage and responsibilities 2.1 Dierengek Katinka is during your absence not to be held responsible for burglary, theft or other damage to your house or to your other possessions, with the exception of direct damage inflicted by Dierengek Katinka herself. 2.2 The owner of the pets is responsible for material and immaterial damage that the owner's pets inflict to other people or to the possessions of other people, according to the Dutch law. Dierengek Katinka is therefore not responsible for damage inflected by your pets. 2.3 Dierengek Katinka is not responsible for illness, injuries and/or death of your pets. 2.4 Dierengek Katinka is not responsible for escape of your pets and she is not responsible if pets who are allowed to be outside your home during your absence don't return, get hurt or die. So if your pets wander outside during your absence, this is at your own risk. 2.5 Dierengek Katinka is not responsible for the loss or theft of your home key and/or for the loss or theft of your mailbox key and she is not responsible for possible consequences of this loss or theft. 2.6 Dierengek Katinka is not responsible for contamination of your pet with fleas, worms and/or ticks and mites. 3.) Care and services 3.1 Dierengek Katinka looks after your pets according to your wishes and as agreed and signed in the contract. Requests and assignments which are not described in the contract are not granted (for example vacuum cleaning, water plants on the balcony or in the garden). 3.2 Included in the rates are: the intake appointment, feeding of your pets, supplying them with water, cleaning the cattoilets, giving them attention and love, supplying them with medication if they need it, wiping the floor around cattoilets, collecting your mail, watering plants inside your home and a little diary of my experiences with your pets. Possible visits to the vet or emergency-clinic, watering plants on the balcony or in the garden, and/or cleaning cages are not included. Take a look at the rates, please. 3.3 Dierengek Katinka makes use of a contract during the period she looks after your pets. 3.4 Dierengek Katinka looks after rabbits, guinea-pigs, fishes, birds, hamsters, rats, turtles, snakes, chinchilla's and dogs and possible other pets. 3.5 Dierengek Katinka will visit your vet or the emergency clinic in case of illness of your pet. Dierengek Katinka will charge you with the costs and fees of the vet afterwards. She will charge you € 20 afterwards as well, for visiting the vet or emergency clinic with your pet. In case of illness or suspicion of illness of your pet you will be notified, so you could decide for yourself whether Dierengek Katinka needs to go to the vet or emergency clinic or not. In a for your pet life threatening situation Dierengek Katinka will first go to the vet or emergency clinic and notify you later. 3.6 In case of absence of your own vet Dierengek Katinka will visit another one. 3.7 There is only 1 person working at Dierengek Katinka and she is looking after your pets. In case of illness, pressure of activities, or any other case of circumstances beyond her control, Dierengek Katinka will provide a substitute to look after your pets and notify you about it if possible. 4.) Obligations of the owner (further to be called: you) 4.1 You need to take care of the accessibility of your home for Dierengek Katinka and you need to take care of the well functioning of the entrance door, the keys and the door lock. 4.2 You need to take care of handing over the keys of your home to Dierengek Katinka. The keys you could hand over during the intake appointment, or you could put them in the mailbox of Dierengek Katinka. They need to be in the possession of the catnanny 24 hours before the period in which she looks after your pets begins. If Dierengek Katinka has to come and collect the keys, in that case she charges € 11. If Dierengek Katinka has to come and return the keys, she charges € 11as well. You could come to her home and collect them yourself and it is also possible to deposit the keys in the home of Dierengek Katinka for next times use, no charge. Keys are not supplied with your name and address for safety's sake, but they are labeled with a number. If Dierengek Katinka needs to make use of a mailbox key, you need to give her a spare key. Dierengek Katinka is not responsible for the loss or theft of this key. 4.3 It is recommended to have a contactperson, preferably one with a set of spare keys. 4.4 You need to take care of having all the products in your home which are needed for looking after your pets well. Needed are: sufficient food and water, sufficient catsand for use of the cattoilet, a scoop to use in the cattoilet, sufficient medication if needed,
sufficient litter bags, a can opener and scissors if needed and preferably the information of a contactperson which a spare set of keys and the information of the vet. 4.5 You need to supply Dierengek Katinka with complete information needed for a well taking care of your pets. Possible guests in your home, workers and the contactperson need to be aware of the period in which Dierengek Katinka is taking care of your pets and they need to be aware of the agreements you make with her. 4.6 Before the period in which Dierengek Katinka looks after your pets begins, you need to take care of your pets and home being free of fleas, ticks and mites. 4.7 You need to notify Dierengek Katinka when you have returned home, through email, telephone, mobile phone or text message, so Dierengek Katinka knows for sure that your pets don't need any further looking after by her. After the agreed period ends, Dierengek Katinka keeps your keys in possession until you return home, just in case you have been delayed. She will continue looking after your pets until you are returned home. She will charge you with the costs of these extra day(s) when you return. 5.) Rates & payments 5.1 Rates are being discussed during the intake appointment and are to be found on the website. 5.2 Rates are 19% btw taxes included. 5.3 Included in the rates are: the intake appointment, feeding of the pets, supplying them with water, cleaning the cattoilets, giving the pets attention and love, supply them with medication if they need it, wiping the floor around cattoilets, collecting your mail, watering plants inside your home and a little diary of my experiences with your pets. 5.4 Not included are: watering plants on the balcony or in the garden, and/or cleaning cages, rates of possible visits to the vet or emergency clinic. Dierengek Katinka will charge you with the costs and fees of the vet afterwards. She will charge you â‚Ź 20 afterwards as well, for visiting the vet or emergency clinic with your pet. Also not included are: vacuum cleaning, cleaning cages, extra housevisits or extra visits to another location, collecting your keys and/or returning your keys. 5.5 You should pay the total amount of the payment before the agreed period begins. You could pay cash or on the bankaccount of K. Kramer. 5.6 A possible extra payment for example for extra days Dierengek Katinka has looked after your pets and/or if needed to visit a vet, has to be paid after you arrived home. 5.7 In consequence of signing the agreement, you are obligated to pay the agreed amount of payment, the signed contract serves as the invoice. 5.8 Dierengek Katinka has a right to changes rates at any moment. In the case they were changed you can find them on the website immediately. 5.9 If your pet is not at home (for example if you allowed it to walk outside before your departure) and it doesn't appear if called by Dierengek Katinka, or if it is not possible to enter your home, in that cases the full amount of payment will be charged anyway. 6.) Ways of paying 6.1 a) You will pay the total amount of payment cash to Dierengek Katinka during the intake appointment or 6.1 b) You will pay the amount of payment cash before your departure to Dierengek Katinka or 6.1 c) You will pay the amount of payment on the bankaccount of Dierengek Katinka and you will take care of the payment being recieved before your departure. 6.2 a) You will pay a possible extra amount of payment cash after you arrived home or 6.2 b) You will pay a possible extra amount of payment on the bank account of Dierengek Katinka and you will take care of the payment being recieved in 7 days or less. 6.3 If the agreed amount of payment has not been paid in advance, Dierengek Katinka has a right to dissolve the agreement immediately. 7.) Cancellations and premature returning home 7.1 You are allowed to cancel the agreement without any charges if the agreed period has not started yet. 7.2 If the period agreed in the contract has already started, you are also allowed to cancel the rest of the days if you returned home premature, but you don't have a right of restitution of any amount of the payment. You are due paying the whole amount of money. 7.3If another person takes over the looking after of your pet without permission of Dierengek Katinka, she will keep looking after your pet for the rest of the days agreed in the contract and you don't have a right of restitution of any amount of the payment.
