RABBI JEFFREY AND MARLA SEGELMAN HAVE LED THE COMMUNITY'S SUPPORT OF LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDING THE MAMARONECK FOOD PANTRY AND THE COMMUNITY RESOURCE CENTER; AND

The Westchester Jewish Council (WJC) is delighted to welcome all those joining this afternoon’s Westchester Jewish Center’s (also WJC) Annual Spring Gala. We are so proud to share in the honoring and thanking of Rabbi Jeffrey and Marla Segelman for decades of service to WJC and beyond, and wish them both only the best in their future endeavors. Your congregation and our Jewish community have been enriched in so many ways by the tireless and visionary work of Rabbi Segelman. As the central connecting, convening and safeguarding body to the eighth largest Jewish county in America, the Westchester Jewish Council works to foster communication among Jewish organizations, unite Westchester Jewry with the State of Israel, and cultivate and strengthen relationships with elected officials, other ethnic and religious groups, and the community at large. Our nearly 140 member organizations, synagogues and schools are anchored by passionate and caring clergy, professionals and volunteer leaders. We are so pleased that the volunteer and professional leadership of Westchester Jewish Center are so deeply involved in so many Council initiatives.
