Winterfest® Jr. Captain Congratulations Sydney Lister
10 nominees from Broward County charities were nominated and competed via Facebook voting to be this year’s Winterfest® Jr. Captain. With 927 votes, Sydney Lister representing S.I.D.E.S. (Sydney’s Incredible Defeat of Ewing’s Sarcoma) was awarded the title 2012 Winterfest® Jr. Captain of the 41st Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest® Boat Parade. Additionally, Sydney will throw out the first pitch at a Miami Marlins home game in 2013, “Party Like A Rock Star” for a day at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino pool, dine at Timpano Italian Chophouse and zip around on the Florida Panthers Zamboni during one of their home games. Look for her aboard the Carrie B in the Parade. Congratulations Sydney! 12
