SANCTIONED EVENTS & CELEBRATIONS 2015-2016 December 9, 2015 Coral Springs Holiday Parade - This parade is a holiday tradition, bringing thousands of residents and visitors together along Sample Road. This year’s parade is themed “Joining Forces for the Holidays” and will feature Star Wars characters from the 501st Legion as Grand Marshals. More than 50 entries include an array of marching bands as well as floats from schools, community groups and local businesses. March 5, 2016 Broward County Waterway Cleanup - The 39th Annual Waterway Cleanup, organized by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and Marine Industry Cares Foundation, is the county’s largest and longestrunning environmental event.
