LYNN HICKEY • 1979-84 • 125-39 (.762) Lynn Hickey’s Wildcats won 23 games and advanced to a national postseason tournament in each of her five years at the helm. An AllAmerican and summa cum laude graduate at Ouachita Baptist College, Hickey won two Big Eight Conference titles and coached K-State’s first Kodak All-American, Priscilla Gary. Hickey left K-State to become the head coach at Texas A&M, a post she held for 10 years. She later became the senior associate athletics director there and is now the director of athletics at Texas-San Antonio. Hickey was inducted into the Kansas State Sports Hall of Fame in August of 2004.
