Ngo K.A.NE.

Who we are: K.A.NE. is a non-profit/ non governmental Youth organization which implements youth development projects. Our base is in Kalamata, the capital of the prefecture of Messinia, in Greece. Our activities are local, national and international, and our projects are open to all young people, mostly ages among 16 to 30. Of course due to the main aims of our existence we focus more on local youngsters, trying to support their self development. Through our projects we promote non formal education as a tool to achieve active citizenship and sustainable development of the local society. The youngsters are not only participating in our existing projects but they are encouraged to bring in their ideas, their energy and their creativity. Every project we participate, promote or implement has always the necessary “open space” for this purpose.
