The five-month program enables the area’s emerging leaders to build their leadership skills, while becoming familiar with critical issues facing the Truckee Tahoe region. The 3/50 Project The Chamber actively promotes the benefits of buying locally and encourages the support of local businesses. The 3/50 Project is simple, attainable, with an immediate “call to action” – Pick 3, Spend $50. It is a commitment to spend $50 more in the community every month than you normally would. This simple shift of dollars gives back to the local economy, supports local jobs, and keeps the independent spirit alive.
