Bowl Game FAM Trip Packet

Purpose of the FAM trip

• To build trust in Just For Kix. It helps us all get to know one another and builds great relationships! It will educate you on all aspects of the tour.

•We will “Wine and Dine” you! Getting your team to come is a lot of work so this is a true perk for coaches and studio owners. It is also a lot of fun!

•If you are ever interested in bringing your team, you will have a grasp of what it includes. You will also have a great time!

Benefit

• You will build a new network of dance coaches and directors from all over the country

• You will talk dance for 3 days straight with other people who love dance.

•Having the opportunity to meet the Just For Kix staff and other studio owners makes the actual bowl game experience much more fun!

• You will know that when you bring your team/studio you will be getting a quality experience!

• To save your spot on the upcoming tour.

Airline Tickets

• You will book and pay for your flight for the FAM Trip into Tampa International Airport.

• Your airfare is reimbursed (up to $400) when you attend the tour with a minimum of 20 people (parents, chaperones, dancers, and siblings count towards that number). We will reimburse half of your ticket (up to $200) if you bring a minimum of 10 people.

•Reimbursements are made following the ReliaQuest Bowl Tour in January

Other

•We worry that you may think this is a scam and is too good to be true. We can give you numbers and emails of those who have attended in the past as a reference if you are interested. You can request this at any time.

•It is FREE! We work with the hotel, and Tampa Tourism, etc. to help us with this event. They like to work with us so you will travel to Tampa in the future!

•Just For Kix will also cover the busing while you are in Tampa and half of the dinner cruise (the cruise will cover the other half).

•All dinners and breakfasts are FREE to you

Thursday, August 10th: Arrive in Tampa, Welcome Reception at the hotel

7:00pm

Friday, August 11th: Breakfast at the hotel, tour Raymond James Stadium, Clearwater Beach Excursion, and Dinner Cruise on Tampa Bay

Saturday, August 12th: Breakfast at the hotel, Busch Gardens Excursion, and closing dinner at Tampa Bay area restaurant.

Sunday, August 13th: Breakfast at the hotel (6-11am) and depart for home

ON THE ACTUAL TOUR, WE DO IT ALL: Your group will have an excursion to Clearwater Beach, Walt Disney World or Universal, a dinner cruise through Tampa Bay, Busch Gardens, New Year’s Eve celebration, pre-game and half time show performances, and an awards ceremony and dinner. Tentative ReliaQuest Bowl Tour Schedule

Day 1: Arrive in Tampa. Welcome meeting and practice in the evening.

Day 2: Morning practice and afternoon excursion to Clearwater Beach

Day 3: Morning practice and Dinner Cruise

Day 4: Morning practice and New Year’s Eve parade and celebration

Day 5: Game Day! Dinner and awards ceremony at night.

Day 6: Excursion to Disney or Universal Studios.

Day 7: Departure Day

(Cost varies from year to year-this is 2022 pricing)

• Performer quad occupancy land package: $1385

• Nonperformer quad occupancy land package: $1350

• Tour participants may choose to upgrade to a triple, double, or single occupancy

• Airfare is separate. You may book on your own or through our travel agent, Bursch Travel

Common Questions

•WHAT IF I WISH TO BRING MY SPOUSE OR ASSISTANT ON THE FAM TRIP?You may bring someone with if you wish, but there is a $150 fee for their package in addition to their airfare. Just For Kix will only refund YOUR airfare.

• WHAT IF I GO ON THE FAM TRIP AND DO NOT WANT TO GO ON THE ACTUAL RELIAQUEST BOWL TOUR?

There are no strings attached. Not everyone always comes back for the bowl game that same year. Many decide to attend the bowl game tour a year or two later, allowing more fundraising time for the dancers and parents. If you decide not to participate, we understand.

Safety During the Actual Bowl

All dancers and non performers receive a name badge on a lanyard with a barcode that is scanned everyday to make sure we have everyone at all times! This is very important to the Just For Kix staff!

We want you to know that the dancers tour is the most organized event around for dancers and you definitely get what you pay for! They will make new friends and meet people from all over the county that they otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity to meet. The performers are treated respectfully. I have worked on other bowl tours and I find that we make it more fun and allow kids to have a good time!

The trip from Florida was a great experience for my girls and a fun endeavor for the rest of our family.

Cindy and her crew do a top rate job in running the program both from a dance perspective and a social/recreation perspective.

I travel a lot for work and participate in several business/recreation corporate outing per year. Cindy’s group rivals any professional organization I have been involved with in the way they have structure, itinerary, and people management. I cannot say enough good things about them!

The girls thoroughly enjoyed their performance and the experience as a whole. I would recommend it to anyone who can get away for a week after Christmas.

The only downside is that after spending a week with about 200 teenage girls that giggled and talked about hair, make up, clothes, and lord knows what else I blocked out, I needed to spend a couple of days watching football just to build up my testosterone levels back up to normal levels.

As your typical over protective “helicopter” parent of an only child, I was extremely impressed with everything! The structure, security, and friendly staff made this a trip to remember!

I can honestly say I don’t think I have ever seen my daughter as excited and invigorated as she was for this week.
