David Edwards Chairman It is with great pleasure that I present to you the annual report for the Independence Economic Development Council. We are extremely proud of the accomplishments of the past year as we worked to achieve our goals of supporting local businesses, attracting new companies and growing our core of entrepreneurs who are getting their businesses established through the Ennovation Center. In 2012, our staff will implement a new approach that will provide us a “laser focus to working with growing companies and we will work closely with our allies and partners to bring a high level of service and support to our customers and prospects. Economic development is a team sport and the support of our public and private sector partners have made our team one of the strongest in the KC metro. Thank you for your continued support and being a vital member of Team Independence.
