A NOTE ON BUDDHISM Both Hinduism and Buddhism originated in the Indian subcontinent and share a very long, relationship, which might be compared to that of Judaism and Christianity. Many Hindus regarded Buddha as one of the incarnations of Lord Vishnu, while Buddhists didn’t accept any Hindu deity either as superior or equal to Buddha.
