To make a Dadaist poem Take a newspaper. Take a pair of scissors. Choose an article as long as you are planning to make your poem. Cut out the article. Then cut out each of the words that make up this article and put them in a bag. Shake it gently. Then take out the scraps one after the other in the order in which they left the bag. -Tristan Tzara

Your Project: A Dada newspaper headline poem First you will cover a piece of paper with pastel for your background. Next, you will be given a section of newspaper. Cut out all of the headlines and separate them into individual words. Rearrange words on your paper to create a poem. You can try to have your poem make sense, or just do it randomly.
