“ The most important years in a child’s life are the first 4 years.” MARINA BLYUMIN, FOUNDER

M

arina Blyumin earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from New York University. She has been a teacher and director of successful programs for more than 30 years. Mrs. Blyumin started SHALOM YELADIM in 1989 when she identified the growing need for working parents to have a full-day, quality program for their children. “The most important years in a child’s life are the first 4 years,” states Blyumin. Her program is dedicated to capturing their developmental needs during this critical time. Mrs. Blyumin is a classically trained pianist who loves to bring the joy of music into the classroom. She is a proud mother of 2 children.

“After looking at 10 different child care centers, both religious and secular, SHALOM YELADIM was the only school that both my children and I fell in love with. The teachers and the environment were warm and inviting and I couldn’t imagine sending my children anywhere else. Now, three years later, I know I made the right decision in choosing SHALOM YELADIM and have recommended it to many friends.”

— Erin Schwartz (parent of a pre-k and a 3-year-old)

“I believe that the best word to describe what SHALOM YELADIM is to our 4-year-old son is HOME. Like home, this is the place he feels comfortable, happy and safe! This is the place that helped our child acclimate and adjust to a new language, culture and environment after we relocated from Israel. So for us, it’s not only a home, but the staff is like a family.” — Shachar Almagor (parent of a pre-k child)
