ATLANTIC 10 Championship
March 5-8, 2010 Show Place Arena • Upper Marlboro, Md. URI: 12-26 all-time record The 2010 Atlantic 10 Women's Basketball Championship will be held Mar. 5-8 at The Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Md. This is the first time in the 28-year history of the Championship that the tournament will be held at a neutral site. First round action of the Championship tips off on Friday, Mar. 5, with the top four teams earning a bye. Quarterfinal play continues on Saturday, Mar. 6, with the Semifinal round on Sunday, Mar. 7. The Championship game will be held on Monday, Mar. 8, and televised live on ESPN2 at 5:00 pm. The Show Place Arena features stadium-style seating for over 4,500 fans and is a facility of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, Department of Parks and Recreation/Prince George's County, Md.
