2014 Spring Youth Soccer Kids!
Hershey Track and Field
The youth soccer program is a competitive recreational coed league. The program focuses on the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, defending and teamwork. Practices are conducted twice weekly during the pre-season. Once the games begin, there is not more than one scheduled practice per week. Practices are held at Barnesfield Park, Sealston Sports Complex and the local school sites. Coaches determine the practice days and times for practices (no practices before 5:30pm). Parents are strongly encouraged to attend a Youth First Parent Orientation, which is designed to familiarize them with our program philosophy, Tuesday, February 25, at 7pm, KG Citizens Center. Uniforms are provided (2 jerseys, socks and shorts). Season conducted March - June. Each team will play between 8 and 10 games. Registrations are accepted January 27th – March 3rd, on a first- come, first–served basis. Mailin registration is preferred.
If you are a kid between 9 and 14 who loves to run, jump and throw, these are for you! Come on out and join in the fun by competing in basic track and field events and have a chance of a lifetime to receive and all expense paid trip to compete in the annual North American Final Meet held in Hershey, PA each year. Beginners and track enthusiasts all welcome. Everyone’s a winner because you are making the choice to get fit!! The Hershey’s Track and Field Games is endorsed by the National Recreation and Park Association, USA Track & Field, and Athletics Canada, and has been solely funded by The Hershey Company since 1978. Cheerleading King Georgettes 4 week session of Cheer This class will teach the basic fundamentals of cheerleading. Participants will learn and perfect jumps, stunt technique, voice projection, dances and tumbling skills. In this class participants will learn what it takes to be a cheerleader but most importantly have FUN! All levels are welcome. Mondays 2/3-2/24 5-7 year olds 5:30-6:15 pm 8-up 6:15-7:00pm
