ITH MORE than 28 years in the legal profession, Gina Jacobs is a partner in Jones Walker’s Business & Commercial Transactions Practice Group. Her practice focuses primarily in the areas of commercial finance, mergers and acquisitions and business planning. During her career, Jacobs has been involved in numerous multimillion dollar business transac-
tions, including general company counsel for non-public businesses. She also uses her background in commercial and lending transactions to assist clients with strategies for collecting and maximizing recovery for troubled loans. Jacobs is a graduate of the University of Mississippi and earned her law degree, magna cum laude from the Ole Miss School of Law. A member of the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Business Law Advisory Group, she also is a past member of the board of directors of the Jackson Young Lawyers Association.
