Artistic and Professional Experience Commissioned by the People’s Commissioning Fund at Bang on a Can the piece Joie de Vivre for the Bang on a Can All Stars. April – August 2018. Premiered at the Festival Vertice October 2018. Composer in residence, Centro Mexicano para la Música y las Artes Sonoras (CMMAS). Selected composer in residence for the project Prácticas de Vuelo 2015. Collaborated with Jazz quartet “Sattva”. The result is my piece for Jazz quartet and fixed electronics Zeroth premiered in March 2016 . March 2015 – August 2015 Composer in residence, New York University Symphony Orchestra. Selected composer in residence in a competition, successfully wrote a piece for the NYU Symphony premiered on April 29 2013. October 2012 – April 2013 Composer, Ext. Noche Lluvia Films México City, México. Scored short movie productions. Interpreting and contributing to the filmmaker's own vision. January 2011 - July 2012
Honors and Awards Awarded the 2015 Jovenes Creadores fellowship from the National Fund for the Culture and the Arts (FONCA). Appointed on August 2015, the project consist on creating an electroacoustic work based on the Spanish accents of Mexico City inhabitants. December 2015 - November 2016. Second Prize at the 5 th International composition contest MIQ 2014 for the piece Clear or Glitchy for Flute, Oboe, Harpsichord and Cello. The piece was premiered during the Cervantino International Festival Cervantino on October 16 2014 at the Museo Iconográfico del Quijote. First prize at the 2 nd Melesio Morales national composition contest in the student symphonic category for the orchestra piece La Máquina in October 2011. Premiered at the Sinfonia Vapor concert by the Veracruz State Junior Symphonic at the National Railroad Museum on December 4 th 2011.
