Alyssa Marie Photography is a storyteller. We capture the stories of real people, being themselves and giving themselves to each other. It’s about perspective, not perfection. Perspective comes from a candid, comfortable interaction with the narrative of the big day, and with the intimacy of the little moments. We take that moment when people are not trying to be perfect, and accent the beauty of it with nature, soft lighting, and creamy depth of field. Take a deeper look at what makes us unique.
MY LOGOS
The main Alyssa Marie Photography Logo suggests both strength and artistry. It shows our confidence in our ability as photographers and storytellers, balanced with the softness of our style, images, and outlook on life. While bold and beautiful, the main logo also has a fun and personable side.
The Icon Logo represents the flash of a camera, and suggests a captured moment between two people. To be used when a more compact representation of the brand is appropriate, the icon is a romantic little expression of Alyssa Marie Photography’s personality. For example, the icon could be used as a seal or stamp, as a link on a website, or as a logo on a t-shirt.
The AMP Party Flags look like something that should be hung up at every wedding. It’s not so much a logo as an accent. Much like we use nature and soft lighting to accent the story of our clients and give it perspective, the flags can be used as a nice accent to imagery, text, and webpages.
Our Signature Logo adds a personalized touch in our branding, representative of our desire to form a connection with clients by being sensitive, peaceful, and personable. It can be used as the company’s signature in a letter, email, or blog post, as a logo on a t-shirt, or in the bottom right-hand corner of a picture.
MY ICONS We have a set of icons that follow us around and show up during awkward moments or when they think we aren’t having enough fun. Each of them has a different profile and you can get to know them here.
THE FILM ROLE This icon represents storytelling and the narrative of the big day, all flowing together in a rhythm as unique as the couple we are featuring.
THE CHICK The Chick is very comfortable in who she is, much like Alyssa Marie Photography. She represents the healthy dependence that married couples have on each other, the softness of our color palette, and the nature setting that we love to use.
THE CAMERA The Camera speaks to the real, candid connection that we try to capture. Its roughed-in lines speak to how we are not looking for perfection, but authenticity and comfort.
HEART On the surface, the heart is a symbol of the love shared by our subjects on the big day. Looking deeper, the heart symbolizes our sensitivity towards our client’s individuality, as well as the love we have for telling individual stories.
MUG The Coffee Cup‌at Alyssa Marie Photography, personal relationships with our clients are so important to us. We want people to feel comfortable to be themselves around us, and the coffee cup represents how we strive to form a relationship first.
As you may have guessed, our icons like to hang out together. For the most part, you can let them. Lots of them like to hang out with the heart – or even in the heart – but there are no real rules…we are cool parents. Of course, every parent has at least one simple rule…ours is: do not make it look lame.
MY FONTS
SERIF A.M.P.
GOTHAM HTF
This font is the main heading font for Alyssa Marie Photography, and was created specially for our company. It’s a joyful and relational font – not intimidating but inviting. Artistic and strong, Script AMP has a calming effect that puts people at ease. The handwritten, imperfect nature of the font is a reference to the uniqueness of each couple who’s wedding we shoot. To be used as a heading for paragraphs or where a heading stands alone.
The body font for Alyssa Marie Photography is Gotham HTF. This clean lettering offsets the whimsicality of Script AMP and adds the necessary air of professionalism to the brand. The thin spacing of Gotham HTF causes it to look less academic and stuffy, and more easy-going and readable. To be used in any text body, whether on the website/ blog, emails, letters, invoices, and brochures. Also can be used as a heading where Script AMP has been used as a more general title for the page.
