A balanced rod allows comfort and enhanced fishability. A rod that you do not have to “fight” allows effortless casting whether finesse pitching or power casting, it also allows an angler to impart better action into lures as well as feel subtle bites. The balance of each Shift™ rod is unique and custom tuned in our development facility. What you feel in your hands is vibration, Shift™ rods amplify the vibration. In essence the fewer components on the rod the less likely the acoustic vibrations will be dampened and thereby increasing what the angler “feels”. When coupled with a high-modulus graphite blank Shift™ rods become very sensitive and transmit information to the anglers hand faster. Shift™ rods utilize the latest rod taper design technology which is far departed from traditional design. The taper and power design of the rods are very stable throughout the casting motion which increases the accuracy of casts. A comfortable tool is something that you can use all day without fatigue. Within the X-Grip™ (Advanced Split-Grip Design), we utilized a custom exposed blank reel seat to reduce unnecessary weight. The ergonomically shaped Hypalon handle then provides a low-profile, palmable design with non-slip comfort for all day use.
