LONDON & BEYOND GROUP SHOW Martin Churchill (b. 1954) Glasgow, UK, now lives and works in London. Churchill gained a BA Fine Art (Distinction) and Postgraduate Diploma in Painting (Distinction) from Edinburgh College of Art, UK. He has won numerous awards including; The Scottish Arts Council Award for Painting; The Latimer Award, Royal Scottish Academy; The Guthrie Award, Royal Scottish Academy; 1st Prize Hunting Group Art Prize, Royal College of Art, London and 2nd Prize in the BP Portrait Award, National Portrait Gallery, London. Churchill has exhibited widely, including group exhibitions at The Serpentine Gallery, London; The Fine Art Society, London; The National Portrait Gallery, London; The Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh; The Mall Galleries, London and The Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, Bristol. His work is included in numerous public collections including; The Fleming Foundation, Scottish Arts Council, Deutsche Bank and The Fleming Wyfold Art Foundation. Adam Hargreaves (b. 1963) UK is the son of Roger Hargreaves, creator of the Mr. Men and Little Miss children's books. When Roger died in 1988, Adam took over the running of the business and also stepped into his fatherâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s shoes as author and illustrator of new Mr. Men books. In 2004 he sold the business and this has allowed him the opportunity to pursue a lifelong ambition to paint. He has now been painting continuously for the past 8 years and has shown and sold his work in a number of successful solo and mixed exhibitions. In his spare time he still writes and illustrates Mr. Men books. Zichao Hou (b. 1988) Datong, China, now lives and works in London. Hou studied Fine Art (BA) at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, UAL and in 2013 achieved an MA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art and Design, UAL. He has exhibited in various group exhibitions at galleries and museums, including; Today Art Museum, Beijing; The Gallery in Cork Street, 2

London and Kettles Yard, Cambridge. In 2011 he became a selected member of the Halo Arts Association. Melissa Launay (b. 1979) lives and works in London. She achieved an MA in Fine Arts from the University of Seville, Spain and has illustrated several books for British and American publishers. Launay had her first solo exhibition at the gallery in 2012, and exhibited in the galleryâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s 25th anniversary exhibition in 2013. Launay also paints murals for the charity 'Kids Company' run by Camila Batmanghelidjh. Jo Oakley (b. 1964) London, UK, studied Fine Art (BA) at North East London Polytechnic. Oakley regularly exhibits at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London (2007, 2008, 2010, and 2012). She has had solo exhibitions at Smelik & Stokking, Holland and regularly exhibits in group exhibitions, including the gallery's recent exhibition, New Contemporaries (2013). Her work is published by Dry Red Press. Jane Wormell (b. 1960) lives and works in North London. She studied with her father, the painter L. J. W. Linsey who was a principal Lecturer in Fine Art at Hornsey College of Art. Wormell has exhibited in numerous group exhibitions at commercial galleries and public institutions including; The Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, London; The Barbican Centre, London and The University of York.

Jonathan Cooper Park Walk Gallery has been promoting contemporary artists since 1988, specialising in representational drawing, painting, photography and sculpture. The gallery is now also dealing selectively in earlier works. 3
