Suite Sanctuary The Master Suite, with its crisp linen upholstery, luxurious textiles and soft palette of neutral hues, is the perfect place to escape life’s daily chaos and relax in its tranquil surroundings. Complementary accents incorporate texture and color adding to the calm lakeside backdrop. The adjoining sitting room, with its floor–to–ceiling windows and cozy fireplace offers a relaxing space to begin the day

in quiet reflection or unwind after a hectic day. Comfortable linen club chairs flank an elegantly distressed table that adds visual interest while providing a peaceful place for daily correspondence or a cozy spot for evening board game. The private terrace with its comfortable weathered teak lounges offers a casual, breezy outdoor living space, adding alfresco ambiance to the elegance of the master retreat.

Wrapped in Luxury Wrap up and revel in the luxury of this classic master bath. To contrast the dark marble floors and walls, the design team chose a neutral paint color. Rich textiles and soft neutral cowhides are layered over natural fiber rugs to soften the space. An elegant chandelier and round accent table add warmth

to the hard surface surroundings—a timeless design element for any bathroom. An antiqued mirror over the spa tub reflects the warm glow throughout the space. Artwork, accent lighting, and decorative accessories personalize and complete the room.

The Renovation The bed FINALLY arrives...four days before the house opens. Talk about cutting it close. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow and trust it to work out...and always have a Plan B. The main rug to be placed under the bed showed up later that evening...after the bed had been installed, of course lol. Two decorators trying to lift a heavy bed and roll out a 10’ x 13’ rug under it at the same time was a comedy of errors. Our thanks to the kitchen designer and her husband who came to our rescue with two extra pairs of hands, and helped it all fall into place.

The Master Bedroom A beautiful pair of Aidan Gray lamps compliment the abstract art and console table. Lighting can make or break an otherwise great room. If you get it wrong, it’s like wearing a great outfit with bad jewelry...it’s all in the details.

Master Bathroom Here’s a second dining table, serving as a beautiful focal point in the center of the bathroom... a great place for displaying accessories and fresh botanicals, as well as, a great place to have that morning cup of coffee while preparing to face the day. We’ve paired it with these great looking stools (actually a pair of metal end tables with concrete tops that were the perfect height and size to repurpose as stools). The cowhide rug under the table adds additional texture and warmth to the bathroom floor, and its durability makes it a perfect choice for this space.
