E STROH CENTER

A LIFETIME OF MEMORIES IN JUST A FEW SHORT YEARS

• Even before the Stroh Center was complete, the NCAA accepted BGSU’s bid to host the 2012 NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Championships. Baylor began its title run at the Stroh, winning a pair of games in BG en route to becoming the first men’s or women’s basketball team ever to go 40-0. • Baylor junior Brittney Griner, the National Player of the Year, became just the second women’s player to dunk in an NCAA Tournament game, slamming one home in traffic in the team’s second-round win over Florida. All three tournament games held in the Stroh Center were sellouts. In addition to Baylor & Florida, Ohio State & UC Santa Barbara rounded out the field.
