Sehmel Homestead Park
10123 - 78th Ave & Sehmel Dr. NW 93 acres. Includes Boundless Playground, artificial turf soccer/football field, Boeing Mariners Care baseball field, two softball fields, tennis and basketball courts, 1000-person amphitheater, 100-person pavilion, picnic areas, 3-acre open grass meadow, heritage garden, pond, over 4 miles of trail, and 70 acres of natural area.
Rosedale Park
8050 - 86th Ave NW & Rosedale St. Includes a 200’ baseball field, picnic shelter, play equipment and two tennis courts (north of field on 86th Ave). All facilities are available to reserve.
McCormick Forest park
10301 Bujacich Rd NW, north of prison 122 acres. Has abundant wildlife with over four miles of trails of varying ease and difficulty for walkers, runners, cyclists, and horses. Trails wander through old growth forest and offer views down into the McCormick Creek canyon. There is also a meadow with picnic tables 100 yards from the entrance.
Wollochet Bay Estuary
20 acres in 10 parcels, Wollochet Dr & Artondale Dr NW Undeveloped but includes 854 linear feet of shoreline between the confluence of Artondale and Wollochet Creeks with the saltwater marsh and estuary area of Wollochet Bay.

Madrona Links Golf Course
Fox Island Fishing Pier

Two telescopes provide beach and bridge buffs alike an up-close view of the bridge.
Hales Pass Recreation Area 3507 Ray Nash Dr. NW & 36th St
3.6 acres includes a rustic 1938 CCC building and picnic shelter, tennis courts and a small ball field. The site has served as a school and community hall, and is available for meetings, classes and social gatherings.

Sunrise Beach Park
Includes beach access with over 2,400 feet of waterfront on Colvos Passage, open grass areas, walking trails, is a popular diving destination, and has spectacular views of Puget Sound and Mt. Rainier.
Cushman Trail
5 miles, 3100 – 14th Ave NW to Burnham Drive Owned by Tacoma Public Utilities and permitted for use to PenMet Parks (2010) and the City of Gig Harbor. Trail heads at 14th Ave, Olympic Drive, Kimball Drive, Grandview Street and 96th Street. The Trail is a 16-foot wide paved asphalt pedestrian route exclusively for non-motorized uses. Trail is great for kids of all ages south of Olympic; hillier between Grandview and 96th St.
