CONCERN FOR ANIMALS Works with low-income people to help spay/neuter pets. Also helps with medical emergencies, and has an emergency food bank. DAISY MAE FOUNDATION

WOLF HAVEN INTERNATIONAL A sanctuary for captive born wolves. Guided walking tours offer a rare close-up view of gray, red and Mexican gray wolves. Family and fun camping offered every Saturday night in August at Howl-Ins. Address: 3111 Offut Lake Road S.E., Tenino. Cost is $7-$9 for regular sanctuary tours. Hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday - Saturday, and from noon - 4 p.m. Sunday, April -September. Last tour departs at 3 p.m. Open weekends only in March and October - January.
