July/August 2015

Summer is the Time for FAMILY! Alpine is definitely the place to be during the

summer! Now that school is out and everyone is in summer mode, there are many ways to enjoy your time both separate and together.

The first place members think of when talking about family is the pool. The Alpine pool area is a beautiful pool to bring family and friends, and is also a perfect spot for relaxing under one of the many umbrellas and awnings. Speaking of awnings, the new awning on the far side of the pool area is an unbeatable location for a private party! Members are able to book events by the pool, whether for birthdays, graduations or just for fun. Also by the pool are some great family nights like Lobster Dinners and the Scavenger Hunt! If the kids want their own fun without adults, they can join the Kids Camp anytime. With different themes each week, our camp is sure to keep them (and you!) enjoying the entire summer!

Lastly, the Dining Room offers enjoyable nights for families, too! Parent’s Night Out is perfect to let kids have fun playing and watching a movie while you enjoy dinner. There are three of these nights coming up this summer! In August, the Tween Ball will be sure to give both tweens & teens a great time at the club. Make sure to get pictures! Staff Profile: Nick Colarusso Position: Sautee Cook Hometown: Cranston, RI Do you have any hobbies? I love to play music. I actually play 5: guitar, drums, trumpet, piano and bass guitar. Where did your love of cooking come from? I remember sitting on the stool in my Nana’s kitchen when I was 8 years old. She would cook traditional Italian food like Tripe and home-made meatballs while I watched and helped. She even kept live chickens around... So I’d say pretty authentic!
