In addition to your suite’s private plunge pool, Pamushana’s main lodge has two swimming pools, a jacuzzi and spa facilities. Visitors make themselves at home in the lounge and bar, library and wine cellar. Although early morning and later afternoon activities are offered every day, there is no rigid program, and activities are planned to fit your individual wishes. In addition to game drives, you may choose from activities such as fishing, boat safaris, walks, mountain biking, tennis, bird watching and visits to see Bushman paintings in the sandstone hills.

Bushmen who gathered on this very hilltop on sacred days named it Pamushana — “a place in the sun.” Today, the high elevation affords Singita Pamushana Lodge’s spacious suites and villa spectacular views. Built with handhewn stonework, and adorned with exotic works of art and richly textured materials, each suite and the villa is air-conditioned, featuring indoor and outdoor showers as well as Internet access and all modern amenities. Walls of sliding glass lead from your bedroom onto a teak gameviewing deck with private plunge pool and Swarovski telescope. The entire camp may be booked for groups or families. Children of all ages are welcome.
