Inclusion Department of the Lawrence Family Jewish community center 858.362.1123 lfjcc.org/youth/inclusion Our inclusion philosophy began in 1994 and was adopted by our board of directors. With 5 participants in our first year of operation, we now serve over 100 participants a year, from preschool to young adults. We provide inclusion support to kids with special needs so they can participate alongside their typically developing peers. Our entry point for kids with special needs is often the preschool, and the greatest amount of kids attend our summer camp program (nearly 60 every summer). We also have young adults with disabilities who volunteer their time here in order to gain work experience and job skills.
