A report of Jerome D'Costa on the West Pakistani army attack on Rangamatia Village and Church in the greater district of Dhaka (now Gazipur District) on Novemver 26, 1971. In the attack, 14 unarmed innocent villagers, men and women, were killed and most of the houses were burnt down, and their valuables were looted. They also looted the Catholic priest's residence and Sisters' convent and desecrated the Sacred Heart Church by breaking the door open, destroying a statue of Jesus and plundering items used in religious ceremonies.
