Concept Our concept is a quarterly subscription box where consumers recieve 3 small sized fragrances and a scented item to suit each of the four seasons. The 3 fragrances included in the box will have been specifically chosen for the individual after they have completed a short questionnaire on their preferred scents. This hint of personalisation will fill the consumer with faith and trust in our brand, as scent is such an important personal part of our sensory system. Recieving parcels in the post is an exciting occasion and even more so when the contents is a surprise. Our concept will fill the consumer with joy and excitment from the moment the box is despatched, delievered and delved into.

With the 3 fragrances there will be a product which has been carefully selected to suit the season. There will be 5 easily recognisable categories of scent, so no consumer feels alienated by perfumery jargon, and for each season there will be a slight variant of each to suit the consumer’s preference. LBF offers a subscription box that doesn’t include branded products, which no other fragrance subscription box offers. We see this USP as a platform where consumers will be surprised and excited to recieve our box in the post, yet have the reassurance that they will love what is included after filling out the questionnaire on their favoured scents.

Our idea is based on the concept of subscription boxes like Graze, Glossybox, Birchbox, Not Another Bill and Dolly Box.

Our consumer is active and has a good understanding of cultural knowledge, technology and trends. They eat in big high street chains, not niche restaurants. They travel to Europe as it’s affordable, yet they can still have a luxurious holiday. They choose to buy make up brands that are big, well reviewed, have good quality products that are worth the price that they are paying.

WE ARE DIFFERENT Product: We have a concept of clearly defined product group which would suit consumer needs. Packaging: We have a vision of perfectly designed luxury packaging to atract our target group.

WE SELL Online: Our product is a montly subscription shipped directly to your home. Store : In a future prospect we are considering to sell in a luxury stores.

As our competitors we see companies who are selling mini size products in a boxes and sending to a consumer or they are buying directly from the store. For example “ Sephora” box contains fragrance mini samples and exchange voucher for a free full size featured fragrance. Another our competitor “Glossy Box” monthly subscription personaly tailored beauty box to suit costumer is slightly familiar with our concept for personal costumization. “Feelunique” is a website where you can order your box filled with full size samples from luxury brands. And finaly “Boots” is selling almost the concept products as mentioned “Sephora” - fragrance mini sizes and included vousher for full sie bottle. All mentioned competitors have a different concept strategies but all of them would compete with our concept.

We would like the product packaging to be kept minimal yet luxurious.
