Southeast AR District Livestock Show & Rodeo Location: Hestand Stadium A 74-year tradition continues in Pine Bluff with the return of the SE Arkansas District Fair & Rodeo. Gates open to the general public at noon during Fair Week, starting on Monday, September 30. The downtown parade will take place on Thursday, October 3, at 4:45 pm. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday will be designated “Armband Nights,” from 6:00 to 10:00 pm. Thursday is “Student & Senior Citizens Day,” and the Gospel Music Talent Show begins at 6:30 pm. Everybody’s Talent Show will begin at 6:30 pm on Friday, October 4, and “Midnite Madness” will take place from 10:00 pm to 2:00 am. The Southeast Arkansas District Talent Show Finals is scheduled for Saturday, October 5 at 6:30 pm. The rodeo, sponsored by the Arkansas Rodeo Association will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 3-5 beginning at 7:30 pm each night. The crowning of the Rodeo Queen will take place during the rodeo on Saturday, October 5.

The Cotton Belt Rail Historical Society, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the restoration and preservation of railroad history. CBRHS is also the Cotton Belt Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. The Museum is operated by the Cotton Belt Rail Historical Society. The Museum is open daily Monday through Saturday from 9:00 am - 2:00 pm and on Sunday afternoons by appointment only. Visitors are welcome and there is no admission charge. The museum features Cotton Belt steam engines 819 and 336, several diesel locomotives, various types of rolling stock, displays of railroad memorabilia, model railroad layouts, and climate controlled museum within the museum.
