Kids 5-11 - Join Jr. Maccabi! BE A PART OF IT! April 14 Orientation, sport practice, pool party @ the JCC May 20 Jr. Maccabi Competition Day at the JCC (with guest athletes and lunch) June 16 Bowling and pizza @ Irvine Lanes July 21 Team OC Pre-Maccabi Games BBQ/Pool Party @ the JCC August 4 March at the Official Opening Ceremony of the 2013 JCC Maccabi Games/ Artsfest at Santa Ana Football Stadium August 5-8 JCC Maccabi Games/Artsfest – wear your Jr. Maccabi uniform and cheer on Team OC!

Be a Volunteer
1,500 volunteers aged 18 or over are needed to work with our professional staff in planning and facilitating the OC 2013 JCC Maccabi Games & ArtsFest. Our volunteer organization is structured to meet the diverse needs of this inspiring weeklong event. There are endless opportunities for you to volunteer your time and expertise. We need committed and responsible volunteers to make The Games & ArtsFest a success. Whether you can spare an hour or a year, we have a place for you! The OC 2013 JCC Maccabi Games & ArtsFest offers the Orange County’s Jewish community a historic opportunity to join together to provide over 2,000 Jewish teen athletes and artists, plus their coaches, family and friends, with a Maccabi experience filled with lasting memories and lifelong friendships. The 2013 Games and ArtsFest will mark the 31st Anniversary year of the JCC Maccabi Games. Be a Host Family
It is an important Jewish concept to open your doors and offer your hospitality.
By welcoming young Maccabi participants into your home, you and your family will share the experience of the OC 2013 JCC Maccabi Games & ArtsFest®. As a Host Family, you will experience the excitement and pageantry of the Opening Ceremonies, as well as five incredible days of athletic competitions and art workshops on a personal level that will create a lifetime of memories.

Host families are asked to:
House two or more visiting athletes from August 4-9, 2013. • Provide daily breakfasts and two dinners during the week. • Provide transportation for the athletes each morning and each evening to/from either the JCC or other local venues. • Provide one entertaining evening to your uests on Host Family Night. • Fill out an on-line registration (available January 2013) 2013 Merage JCC Program 5 • •Attend one Host Family Orientation Guide meeting in May/June 2013
