$150 members, $175 public +$20 material fee Come to Tween Art and make new friends as they learn to draw, paint and sculpt. Students will “see” the basics of painting and drawing in a new way. The varied curriculum includes still-life, the figure, landscape, portraiture, cartooning, animation, clay sculpture and more. Materials are included. One canvas per child per session will be provided.

Teen Lounge: Unwind from school in the Teen Lounge, for JCC members only entering grades 6-12. You must wear your JCC I.D. badge. Hang-time in the Teen Come do your homework or enjoy Hangtime. We’ve got flat screen TVs, two pool tables, a ping pong table, Xbox 360 with all the newest games, a stereo, three computers, and a comfy homework area.
Teen Lounge Hours Monday-Thursday 3-6 p.m. I Friday 2:30-5 p.m. The Teen Lounge is supervised at all times by qualified staff. Teens must sign a required code of conduct before participating in teen center activities.

Teen Art, Ages 14+
Tuesdays, 5 p. m. to 7 p. m. April 29-June 10
$150 members, $175 public Music, art, popcorn, friends and creativity: what a great way to end the day! Teens will love this class for the art student who wants a little more time and help exploring different art mediums under the guidance of an experienced artist. It’s also for the art student who just wants to paint, meet new people and have some fun. Students will gain a better understanding of Art History, Art Theory and Art careers. Just bring your inspiration and imagination! All materials are provided (students are welcome to bring their own larger canvas). No experience necessary.
