Course Withdrawal Procedure Students wishing to withdraw from a course may do so by completing one of the methods listed below. If requesting to withdraw after the mid-term date of the course, students must obtain their instructor’s approval. Ready to Work / Work and Learn Ready to Work and Work and Learn are programs designed to assist low-income parents pursuing a GED or attending college classes at WKCTC. Both programs assist students in meeting their KTAP/TANF work requirement through a combination of school and paid work study (on campus and off campus). Happening Hour The Happening Hour was implemented in an effort to increase activities for students. The Happening Hour is a time to have student events and activities as well as provide student organizations with a regular time to meet. It occurs on Wednesdays throughout the semester from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Students can keep up with the events by checking the College Web site at westkentucky.kctcs.edu/student_life and by reading the message boards located throughout the campus.
