Mathematics Professor Kassemi (chair), Assistant Professors Harpster and Patel Mission Statement It is the mission of the department to provide a high quality education and training in mathematics and its applications for its students. This is based on a conviction that mathematical training of students is not only essential for career preparation but also as a cultural grace. Double Majors Double majors with mathematics as a component are fruitful and deservedly popular. Currently, most popular combinations are with computer science, business administration, and education.

A grade of C- or above must be earned in all courses that are required in a major or minor.
