Todos los días me pregunto como me siento. Aún no sé por qué lo hago. He descubierto con gran sorpresa —ojo— que no todo el mundo se pregunta eso. Con ese ejercicio, para bien o para mal, pongo en duda constantemente mi identidad, la cuestiono y trato de desmenuzarla. Escribo esto con posteridad a las fotografías que crean esta narración visual y encuentro esa coherencia que a veces olvidamos que tenemos, sentado en la ventana de mi taller creativo giro mi cabeza y sin preguntármelo, veo cómo está el paisaje apago la luz —casi siempre para evitar los reflejos— tomo la cámara, encuadro, compenso la exposición, enfoco, disparo, reencuadro, vuelvo a disparar y así sucesivamente. Semana a semana encuentro un paisaje amplio, libre, colorido, lluvioso, nublado, azulado, anaranjado, morado, enladrillado y finalmente reflejado: El reflejo soy yo.

Every day I ask myself how I feel. I don´t know why I do that. I have discovered with a huge surprise – attention – that no one ask their selves that. With that exercise for a good or bad reason, I don’t know, constantly I put in doubt my identity, I dispute it, and also I try to crumble it. I’m writing this before of these photos that create this visual narrative and I find that coherence that sometimes we forgot that we have, sitting in the window of my creative studio I turn my head and without asking myself, I see how’s the landscape, and I turn off the light – sometimes to avoid the reflections – take my camera, frame, compensate the exposure, focus, shoot, reframe it, shoot again, and that successively. Week by week I find a clean and extensive landscape, also colorful, free, rainy, cloudy, bluish, orangey, brick worked, purple y finally reflected: That reflection is me.
