In the foreground we can see some green and orange blades of grass and reeds, while in the background, beyond the river bank, there are some larger bushes or even trees. The two people on the boat are wearing comfortable clothes, and even if their physical appearance can’t be clearly seen, because they are not in the foreground, it looks like they are both men, although one of them could possibly be a woman. One of them is sitting, with an oar in his hands, and the other one is standing and has a jumper tied around his waist. The one who is standing is lifting some kind of basket from the water, so that he could be fishing with some kind of traditional method. However, he might be doing something different, like searching for objects or manufacturing handmade baskets.
