Ivan Sergejev

Ivan Sergejev is currently an architect based in Tallinn, Estonia. Previously an intern at the world leader for architecture and cultural analysis OMA, and a Fulbright fellow in the Masters of Architecture program at the Virginia Tech School of Architecture+Design, he is a winner of multiple awards and scholarships, and has gained a diverse professional experience in Estonia, Netherlands and the United States. He is also a co-founder of the national Interdisciplinary Research Honor Society – a student envisioned and run organization, devoted to promotion and recognition of interdisciplinary research. Ivan has served as an invited critic for numerous student reviews, as well as a graduate selection committee member for the undergraduate thesis prize at the Virginia Tech School of Architecture+Design. Ivan's professional interests include the influence of the digital culture on the built environment, biomimetics and extreme urbanism.
