ISA Film & Digital Art Competition Our new competition was launched in 2016 and attracted some high quality entries, which impressed our judge with their professionalism. For best effect, the entries need to be viewed online and links are available on the competitions section of our website. Still images are contained in this brochure to give a flavour only and to celebrate the winners. The Film & Digital art competition is open now for entries for 2017 with classes for different age groups in computer animation, film shorts and digital art. Each school may submit a maximum of one entry in each of the 10 classes and there is no regional qualifying round to this national competition. Film entries must be uploaded to Youtube and available for public view. Any necessary copyright permissions must be obtained for any music used in films or animation. Full details are available on our website including online entry forms.

Qualifying for Nationals The ISA National Art Exhibition represents the pinnacle of artistic achievement across ISA’s 409 Members’ Schools and over 90,000 pupils. The ISA is indebted to its seven area art coordinators, who enthusiastically administer, run and organise the local competition in their areas, with the generous support of their schools. This National Final would simply not be possible without them and the huge amount of time they devote to this. The pieces illustrated in this booklet qualified for Nationals by winning the class at one of the regional competitions. We also thank the Heads and Governors of the schools who hosted the competitions; to ISA Members and individuals who coordinated the delivery and collection of vast quantities of art work to the regional and national competitions around the country. Most especially though, thanks and congratulations should be given to the individual art teachers and to the ISA pupils who put in the tremendous hard work to produce the art work, only a fraction of which is featured in these pages.
