We follow a Distributed project management methodology, which divides the project into intelligent work pieces that are executed independently and simultaneously, at the customer site and the offshore center. All outsourcing engagements have two characteristic components - the Onsite and Offshore. The onsite component consists of those parts of the engagement that are executed at the customer site and covers activities that need end-user interaction. The offshore component consists of those parts of the engagement that are executed at a remote location. It usually covers activities that are required to be research oriented, and requires limited interaction with end users or client.

Effective Communication We have several mechanisms in place to keep our clients informed about all project related activities at our offshore location. l l l

A project plan covering all aspects of the project along with a detailed schedule is created at the beginning of the project. This is shared and discussed with the customer project manager and updated on an ongoing basis. A periodic (two week period) project progress report covering all aspects of the project is emailed to the customer and reviewed on a conference call. During the call, the progress of the project is reviewed against the project plan and any corrections, if necessary, are incorporated into the plan and schedule. This forum is also used to highlight all high priority open issues.

All documents including the latest project plans and status reports are made available on a shared folder at the client site or on the net through client portals.
