A new look for our information policy! Dear fellow citizens, As you may have already noticed, the municipality of Steinsel has modified its former means of communication and is now seeking a friendlier and more modern communication strategy towards its citizens. This includes our municipal magazine “Steesel Aktuell” with its new layout as well as our association news. Furthermore, we are now present on the social networks Facebook and Instagram. Thanks to all these new informations, the College of Aldermen hopes to reach even more citizens, with various reports and in-depth coverage available on our website in French or English, and to provide more insight into the work of the College of Aldermen and the Municipal Council. But in these troubled times, in which we have demonstrated a lot of solidarity here in Steinsel, the work of the municipality has to be carried out under a lot of challenging conditions – due to the pandemic, the war, which entails much higher building prices and especially due to the exaggerated procedures here in Luxembourg. It is therefore no longer possible to carry out political tasks in a normal way. The College of Aldermen nevertheless endeavours to include all announced projects in the planning and to implement them as soon as possible and according to the financial situation. The projects will not progress as quickly as originally intended. Not because of the financial situation, but because of the procedures. We therefore ask for your understanding!
