Project Management Project Management Certificate Program The Project Management Certificate Program is designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge needed to be a successful project manager. The MEP Center for Indiana is the Purdue University Technical Assistance Program (TAP), which is part of a national network of manufacturing experts ready to help regional businesses succeed in a big way. Digital Nature Photography: Basic Techniques

Basic Digital Photography: Going Beyond Auto

Prerequisite: Know Your SLR Camera course or equivalent knowledge.

Learn the criteria that make photographs tell a story and become more attractive to the viewer. Gain an understanding of how to use the digital camera to capture the images you want. You also will learn how to upload images to a computer, enhance images digitally, and share them as prints and via the Internet. Students must bring a digital SLR camera to class.

This course is for the photographer who already knows digital camera basics and now wants to take their shooting outside. Learn the techniques used by professional photographers through hands-on photo instruction coupled with classroom sessions, in-field location shoots, and image critiques. Field locations may require an admission fee. This course is designed for digital SLR cameras and not nonadjustable, point-and-shoot cameras. Institute of Reading Development In the programs for children (4-year-olds through 5th grade), students have fun while learning phonics and word-attack skills, building fluency and comprehension, and becoming confident readers. Your child will be excited about books and reading, and will be prepared for a great start in the upcoming school year. In the programs for adolescents (6th grade and up), students improve comprehension in both fiction and non-fiction while doubling their reading speed. Students earn better grades in school by learning the best way to read and study textbooks, take notes, and study for tests. The focus of the adult program (12th grade through adult) is to improve reading efficiency. To that end, eye tracking exercise, retention techniques, and systematic analytical approaches are taught. 4 years of age through Grade 5:
