Midwest Hearing Aids, located in Iola is one of eight offices in Southeast Kansas operated by Daniel and Tammy Miller along with Dr. Zack Miller (pictured above from right to left). The Balance Center in Chanute, run by Dr. Zack Miller, AuD, is open for treatment of patients with balance problems and dizziness issues. The Iola office is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday and by appointment. Joy Holtzman is the office manager for Midwest Hearing Aids. The Chanute office is open Monday through Friday. Doing business since 1948, Midwest Hearing Aids is the largest hearing aid company in Kansas now operating 37 locations statewide. Daniel and Tammy have broad experience and training in the hearing field and both have served as past presidents of the Kansas Hearing Society. They are both national board certified in Hearing Instrument Sciences and are members of the International Hearing Aid Society. Dr. Zack Miller, AuD, is a doctorate of Audiology from Wichita State University. Dr. Miller provides Audiometric Evaluations, Tympanometry Otoacoustic emissions testing, as well as balance testing using our new state-of-the-art Videonystagmography (VNG) equipment to best assess your balance issues. He is available for consultation and testing in all eight of the Midwest Hearing Aids Southeast Kansas offices by appointment. Midwest Hearing Aids dispenses multiple makes and models of hearing aids in all price ranges. They have the latest in technology including Digital, computerized circuitry and have recently introduced the Wi Series wireless technology. Microtronics, Inc. was started in February 1991 and incorporated in April of the same year. Microtronics will soon celebrate 22 years of electronic manufacturing and providing industrial wireless controls for industries that manufacture equipment such as concrete pumps, tub grinders, cranes, stump grinders, slope mowers, excavators, equipment trailers, track machines, fire trucks and more. Microtronics has designed several products for the military and Kansas Department of Transportation that will increase safety in work zones. Microtronics has provided several local companies with electronics engineering design and provides contract manufacturing services with those designs and others. Microtronics is a member of the MHIA (Material Handling Industry of America), is a charter member of the ICCM (Industrial Controls and Components Manufacturers) and is also a charter member of ECMA (Electrification & Controls Manufacturers Associations).
