Optional Practical Training
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Optional Practical Training (OPT) is offered through the USF Office of International Services. This program is designed for international students who are interested in completing an internship related to their field of study and will need to obtain a work visa.

Students who complete the Pathway Program and progress to the University will be eligible for OPT after completing one academic year (two semesters) at USF. Please be advised
that semesters completed during Pathway do not count towards OPT eligibility.
