Mountains Explore the fascinating mountains of Oman. By following the old footpaths of the Hajar Mountains, you can reach some of the most unspoilt corners of Arabia. In the North you can see high mountains thrusting almost vertically into blue fjords. Through the influence of the monsoon in the South you will find fertile valleys and green hills. Whether abseiling in Wadi Guhl canyon, climbing or trekking in the peaks of Jebel Akhdar – Oman offers a wide range of activities for mountain lovers and adventure seekers. Explore abandoned villages that have been almost seamlessly built into the hillsides, or enjoy fantastic views from lofty pinnacles. A truly mountain experience is waiting for you.
