I’m not confident. Last season was a bit of a fluke, I think. We need new faces but we can’t seem to get any. Players just don’t want to come. We offered Bobby Zamora £40K per week when he’s worth about £4K, and even then the deal fell through – well, it seems to have, anyway. Unless we get someone who can score us 15 goals a season, I think the writing’s on the wall. Phil Brown’s still the right man for the job. You can’t knock him, he’s just got very little to work with.
