Ren - Shades of Grey Ch. 13 Advanced He would just stand there and wait for security to arrive, while his sister's life was threatened, and probably ended. Renford looked demented Robby thought, raised his gun and fired; waited for a brief second, and pulled the trigger sending an electric current through it. He watched Renford was immediately knocked to his knees and could not believe how the bastard tried to get to his feet again. Fearing for the safety of his sisters and everyone around Robby pulled the trigger a second time and held it until Renford fell to the ground unconscious. "... Where is security?" Robby demanded breath and took a painful breath. ***** The pungent smell of disinfectant was the first thing Janey realized. She opened her eyes reluctantly see the white ceiling above him, as it became aware of the weight of some cover. "Janey! Are you awake, thank God," said Marina, when she saw her daughter move. "Where am I?" He asked hoarsely Janey and her throat dry and rough. She turned her head and looked at his mother and then tried to sit up, she saw a bottle of water per unit beside the bed. "You're in the hospital. Did you have a panic attack and fainted. Doctor gave you a mild sedative, but you can go as soon as you check your blood pressure and pulse once you're awake." Marina said quietly, handing Janey bottled water. Janey froze as he remembered the horror he heard that Hawk escaped, "Where is Robby and Adam?" she asked worriedly. "They're down to the police station," said Marina tapped Janey's hand when she realized what was going through his mind, "but that is no reason for concern. They caught the guy who ran away and have him in custody again." Marina he tried to calm down. Janey's hands were shaking badly that she had to go through a bottle of water Marina opened. Marina watched Janey took a drink before looking around impatiently. "Where is the doctor or nurse, I want to get out of here," Janey said anxiously. "I'll go and let them know you're awake." Marina said as he got up from the chair she was sitting in. She pushed aside the curtain that surrounded the bed and hurried to find his sister. Janey moved into a sitting position and sat on the bed with her legs crossed in yoga position. Again she felt the unsettling feeling of something crawling under the skin and rubbed his belly unconsciously. She was to drink more water when her mother returned and nurses and doctors. The doctor is in how it was absently rubbing her stomach as he approached, "Do you have pain?" he

asked. Janey blankly looked at him. "You're rubbing your stomach. Are you in pain?" he asked again. "Oh, nothing like that. I keep feeling as if ants or something crawling under the skin," said Janey surprised. The doctor moved to the side of the bed and reached out to lay hands gently against Janey lower, "the feeling is there?" "Yes," Jane began to worry when the doctor knew immediately where the feeling was. "Oh, then you will feel the first movements of your baby, that's good. Child is active. Now let me give you a pulse while a nurse makes blood pressure," the doctor said brightly cheerful voice. Janey sat there amazed, one hand on the area where the sense of feeling. She looked at her mother and saw understanding smile on his face. "The baby's moving!, I can feel it moving! Is it real now!" Janey thought excitedly. "Everything is good. Blood pressure and pulse are normal. Now I know your mother told you I'm willing to let go. Told you that you have no reason to fear? The police shot a thug and died on the spot." Her doctor said. Janey looked at her mother stunned. "I just knew that he was captured," said Marina equally surprised. Janey sat there not sure what to think or feel. She felt no remorse Hawk was dead only relief that will come after her, or she would have to face him in court. A small part of her felt happy that he died for sure got just what they so rightly deserve. Suddenly, Janey felt guilty for that held no sadness, and she hung her head in shame. "You can go, but I must insist rest for the rest of the day. And here's the phone number if you feel you need someone to talk to about their experiences., What you experienced is very traumatic," said the doctor. Janey looked at him and felt that he saw clearly for the first time. He was just about in his late twenties and possibly Philippines nationality. Dully Janey took the card reached out to her and let her sister helped build the floor. She followed her mother out of a curtain outside the emergency room, where she was in and out of the waiting room. Jim rose from his seat he was occupying and rushed forward when his wife and daughter went to the waiting room. "James and Caro returned to our hotel. James got a phone call, the trial was adjourned until morning." He told them. "Janey, you are with us now. Around Adam can come see you later." Janey was relieved when her father take control. It was so much easier than deciding what to do with myself. She followed her parents from the hospital to a day off mild sunny afternoon; ride back

to the place where her parents were staying short and one offside Janey was only too happy to lay down and curl up on the bed. Marina soon got some sandwiches for Janey, who bought it in a small container and sat on the bed alongside her. "You have to eat to their strength for herself and the child." Marina says softly. Janey rolled over to face her mother. She had no strength to argue that reaching for a piece of sandwich and nibbled on it. Her mother sat with her until she ate half of the food, and when he saw Marina eyelids grow heavy Janey pulled a light blanket over her daughter and left with unfinished food with them. Janey still asleep when Robby and Adam returned to the hotel. Adam immediately went to check Janey despite the protests of her mother that she was sleeping and then left the apartment. He did not wake her just stood in the doorway for a few moments, watching her sleep before returning to the room where the others were. "Janey still asleep?" James asked quietly. "Yeah," Adam replied absently. "That may well be, she will probably just get upset when they hear that bastard Renford was closed, trying to get her to the hospital." Robby said, annoyed. "Why would I be mad? Would have thought that he feels relieved that he was behind bars," said Jim confused. "Apparently he and his friend trying to convince Janey, that her friends and her never meant any harm," said James firmly. "Sure Janey does not fall for this clap trap!" Jim exclaimed, his voice rising angrily. Marina looked toward the room where Jane was asleep, deciding to shut the door, to minimize the chances of her waking up conversations Marina went to the door to close it. "Mom?" Janey's voice was thick with sleep. "Go to sleep Janey," gently soothed Marina before releasing the door closed. "Do not lock me!" Janey cried out in fright when she got out of bed and quickly rushed to the door, pulled it open, and when Marina went slightly open. "Hey Janey, better?" Asked Adam, when he went to her to put his arm around her shoulders. Janey tensed at his touch for a few moments then began to relax. "You go sit down?" Asked Adam, and he led her to a chair. Janey sat down he knew it was useless to protest, especially as both her brothers were there as well. "For some reason, it seemed that I was too soft to do something as difficult as standing for several

minutes." Janey when irritated. "You do not have to worry that a man who turned up at the hospital. Was closed." Jim told his daughter to believe that she would be relieved to hear that. Janey looked at his two brothers and Adam, as he began sinking feeling in your stomach, certainly not .... "Who is this daddy?" He asked uncertainly Janey. "Renford tried to get to see you," Adam said quietly. He saw a flash of something deep in her eyes before looking away. If it was a pain? Janey turned and stared into the corner for a few seconds before he looked back at Adam reluctantly gives a slight nod. "Good," was all he said was that some things could not fight. "Has anyone ever told you what happened to Hawkings?" Adam asked softly. Janey nodded, silent for a few seconds, and then said, "the doctor explained that I was safe." "What are you doing this afternoon? Spend time with your family?" Adam asked softly. "Can we go see a movie or something? Do not want to be in a cage," said Janey suddenly surprised myself. "Oh, yeah. Which film you want to see?" Adam asked, surprised. "What movies are you wearing?" Janey asked "I think we got a local newspaper laying around here somewhere. This could have that in him," James said as he looked around looking for paper. A short search found the paper and showed that they actually have film footage of local cinema in it. Janey chose the picture she really want to see, and hoped that it will occupy her mind. Marina picked up her purse, and when Jim looked at her, she went to her husband's side and pressed a light kiss on the cheek, "I'm going out for a while, there's something I want to do." Marina walked out the door of the hotel and headed to where the car was parked, for a moment hesitated before turning the car. It was only a few minutes walk away where she wanted to go, and she decided that air can perhaps clear his head and help her decide what she wanted to say, when she got there. A few minutes later he stopped before a door to the police station before sliding it open and walked inside. On the reception they met a lawyer who was present at the police station in Byron Bay, with him was one of the men, who are facing trial, as well as an unusually beautiful woman who looked like an exotic mix of Asian and Hawaiian perhaps as white blood cells. "Can I help you ma'am?" Female officer said when he came to the long table. "I would like to see Mr. Gabriel Renford, please," said Marina.

"I'm sorry, but Mr. Renford gives police officers with him a lot of problems at the moment and it will not receive any visits," the female officer firmly. "Please believe that when I have a few words with him that he would calm down and work together," said Marina with a view towards the lawyer who turned to her. "You're Mrs. Wilkinson are those Janetta Wilkinson mother," the lawyer said with certainty when he took a step toward her. "Yes, I am," Marina confirmed. "How is your daughter? Believe that if I can convey to Mr. Renford to calm down." Graeme said hopefully. "That's why I'm here. Saw how he looked at Janey in Byron Bay, and when I heard what was happening in the hospital earlier, when I was in with Janey, I knew I needed to know that it is okay . " Marina says with confidence. She heard a sigh of relief from the big man with a lawyer, and he knew that he was right; these people did care about her daughter, perhaps as he seemed to care about them. ***** Ren looked up in anger when he heard the interview room door open. They had him chained down with handcuffs and limitations as a dog and nobody would tell him how the sky was no matter how much she wanted to know. He felt that he hallucinating, seeing her mother walk into the room, followed by two officers. He pulled against the shackles and constraints, held hands on the table in front of him before kicking the legs of the table in frustration. "Why does anybody tell me how Sky is?" Ren shouted in anger. "Janey is fine, she'll be fine." Marina said in a gentle voice. She watched as relief flooded his face. "Hawk was injured has it on?" Ren asked desperately. "Janey is wrong, wrong scared and shaken, but fine." Marina replied. She watched as he closed his eyes and nodded silently. He slowly opened his eyes and saw Marina horror and pain in them. "I was afraid that he's gone, I was afraid she completely lost it," Ren said, his voice strained and husky. "You've lost it completely, you did, when she managed to escape and find his way home!" One of the officers broke "I let her go! I sent her home! It was what she wanted, what she needs! She may not be with me, but I knew he was safe and happy, and that was all I wanted you stupid FUCK! " Ren shouted at the officer as he tried to restrictions again.

Marina found herself ushered out of the room as a police officer apologized. She'd run from the room. It was clear that to her that Gabriel Renford needed to know that Janey is fine. ***** It was long after dark before Ren was given the night in a small cell. He looked through the bars at Jake, where he lay on a cot in the cell opposite. The officer, who eventually released him from bondage when he finally calmed down he said Hawks death. Ren was also said that Jake was not informed about how even as he spoke with a lawyer. "Hey, Jake!'re Up man?" Ren called through a narrow corridor. He saw Jake stir and lift his head to look around. "Hey Jake, than here." "That you Ren?" Jake asked, sitting on the edge of the bunk. "Yeah, it's me," said Ren. "Damn, man, what are you doing here?" Jake asked as he stood up and walked to the door in front of Ren. "Coolin 'my heel," Ren said softly. Take a deep breath and looked down at the floor of the corridor between them and tried to think about how he was going to tell Jake what he had to say. Jake watched Ren raised his head and looked into his face, he had a very serious expression and seemed hurt when he opened his mouth to speak. "I know you have said, but I think you need to know. Hawk got here ..." he said Ren. "Yeah, I know, stupid bastard hit a police officer and grabbed his gun. Course I caught it yet, I bought it back." Jake said uncertainly. "... They will not bring him back, stupid idiot apparently started shooting and they shot him. Died." Ren said softly. 've Never had a problem with Jake, I always got along with him. "Idiot! I told him that this would happen!" Jake cursed and turned away, tears blurring his vision. He went still, remembering Hawk said he was going across the sky. "Sky did not hurt it?" He asked Jake well. "No dude, apparently it's okay," Ren said softly. He watched as Jake moved to the opposite wall of the cell and sat on the bed, put his elbows on his knees and buried his face in his hands. Ren turned and went to bed that night to use; across the hall heard the faint sounds of crying. ***** The clouds parted to the weak morning sun light even when there is no heat came to light. Shadows danced on the road as Janey walked towards the stairs to court with her parents. She darted nervously looked around and saw Brad standing with Brent and Matty in a patch of sunlight at the

courthouse porch. She could not help noting, even with one glance that seemed subdued. "It was the death Hawks"? Or was it the fact that Ren is in jail? " Janey stopped at the bottom of the steps before taking a deep breath and started after them. "Tanaya walked around the building carrying two cans of coke from the machine probably around one side of the building." Tanaya gave her a dirty look as she passed. "Bitch!" Janey almost missed the next step as she heard the hissing word. She paused for a moment with a vague idea of â  â  turning the other woman, but her father grabbed her arm and urged her forward. "What was that?" Marina said she looked puzzled frown. Janey silent when he reached the top step. The guard at the door and let channeled into the courtroom. Nerves twisted in Janey stomach and felt weak feeling her baby move, she sat in a police representative. He turned and looked at her and looked over his glasses at her. "After yesterday's events, the judge decided it would be best if the rest of the proceedings shall be held in closed court, which means that no public is allowed in. Your parents will be able to though." The officer said, "Your brothers and a friend are not in. I'm sorry." It seemed that nothing but sorry Janey thought, as he turned toward the front of the hall. There was the usual movement as a judge was inducted into the hall and sat down; shuffled through his papers looking at them before he raised his eyes to those before him. There was a short pause and Janey watched Jake and Ren led into the room; could not help but notice that both looked subdued. There was a noise behind her in the back of the room and looked over his shoulder to see Brad, Brent and Matt left the courtroom. She watched as all five men were directed to seats behind the defending lawyer of the table. She noted that a lawyer who was in the police prosecutor before was now with Brad and Ren. The judge slowly raised his head and studied the five men before him; lawyer who was with Jake the whole time he stood up and cleared his throat. "Your Honor, my client Mr. Jacob Lantra wishes to change his plea Honor. Wishes to plead guilty to all charges." Janey looked at what a surprise. She felt a hand squeeze his shoulder from behind and knew that her parents were offering her his support. "I see," the judge said as he looked at the paper in front of him, "I also see that yesterday, when your former co-defendant escaped custody've had a chance to escape as well, but decided to remain in his cell and alert police to what it intends to do. "Judge paused and looked at Jake. His lawyer nudged Jake to his feet and he nodded to the judge, "Yes, Your Honor. I felt that the best thing I have my punishment.'m Guilty of what I accused," Jake said seriously, "what I did was wrong, I knew it at the time, but I did it anyway. best thing you can do is to own up to their actions and take

the consequences like a man. " The judge frowned as he looked down at the paper again. . "Abduction, several counts of rape, assault with intent to cause damage, unlawful imprisonment, corruption, freedom These are serious offenses until your companion escaped yesterday seemed to not have remorse for what you have done and even before he was. surrounded you gave your statement to the police about what was done to the victim ... I'm afraid it's too little too late for my liking. sentence you to fifteen years imprisonment with non-parole period of five years. " Janey watched Jake stood there motionless. Part of her wanted to protest that it was Hawk, who was the principal architect, but another part still reminded her that Jake kept it on the ground that Hawk could have a way with her that first night. The judge turned his attention to the four other men who were sitting in their seats, "Andrew John Matthews and Steven Brent Winters." He said that when he read from another sheet of paper.
