To make it: mix equal parts of cornstarch and water. We used 3 tablespoons of each, and then two to three drops of food coloring.

Seriously – the boys had a BLAST and mixing the colors was educational. The boys are becoming familiarized with color mixing so watching the droplets of food coloring come together to make a new color was rocket science to them. (Even I had to get in on some of the fun!) Since it had food coloring in it I was nervous that it wouldn’t wash out of their clothes or might be difficult to wash off of the driveway. I was wrong and wrong. It washed right out of their shirts and the rain completely removed all traces of it on our driveway.
