una bici elettrica costruita su misura con le sembianze, magari, di una delle vostre moto d’epoca preferite. Ebbene tutto ciò può non restare un sogno in un cassetto grazie all’idea di due giovani amici sanremesi uniti da una grande passione per le moto. Davide Grosso e 3 carissimi amici, circa tre anni fa hanno deciso di chiudersi in un garage e provare a far nascere dal nulla una bici elettrica che avesse le sembianze di una moto custom. “Alla sua prima uscita sulla pista ciclabile – racconta Grosso a Sanremo.it – la nostra bici ha avuto un grandissimo successo. Fu in quel momento che cominciammo seriamente a pensare di poterne costruire delle altre per poi commercializzarle”. E

Insomma, la strada dei 4 giovani “inventori” è ancora tutta da scrivere, ma si prospetta uno sviluppo a breve di respiro “internazionale”, visto che è in fase di perfezionamento un accordo con una holding per la commercializzazione world-wide delle e-bike. Grazie a questo progetto imprenditoriale, nel 2015 l’azienda ha ricevuto da Confartigianato il premio “Giovane Imprenditore ligure”.

Sanremo, e-bikes, a glimpse into the future of mobility Imagine a tailor-made electric bike perhaps with the features of one of your favourite vintage motorbikes. Well, all this is no longer a dream thanks to the idea of two young friends of Sanremo united by a great passion for the motorbikes.

Davide Grosso and three dear friends decided about three years ago to shut themselves into a garage and try to bring out an electric bike with the appearance of a custom motorbike. “At its first appearance on the bicycle path – says Grosso to Sanremo.it – our bike had an enormous success. It was in that moment that we seriously began to think that we could build others to then sell them on the market”. Therefore, work permitting, the four guys from Sanremo formed the company Forza G Srl, which allowed them to create so far 9 electric bikes of absolute prestige and exclusivity, just because they are unique pieces. The great qualitative leap came almost immediately, in 2014, when their e-bike was exhibited at the Top Marques of Montecarlo, that is the luxury show for motors. Prince Albert in person congratulated them. An unexpected success

and appreciation for the two Sanremo guys. “Our secret is combining together Italian design and technology, creating a unique product, completely handmade, and having an obsessive care for the details – continues Grosso – and this formula was even appreciated by Sisal, that during the soccer World Cup asked for two biked to use for leafleting of its own campaign, which included maxi screens on Navigli”.

Thanks to this entrepreneurial project, in 2015 the company received the award “Young Ligurian Entrepreneur” by Confartigianato. For Davide Grosso and his inseparable partners/ friends, the doors for a really important market could open soon, thus contributing, with the Italian excellence, to the development of a more sustainable mobility without sacrificing the beauty and luxury.

Так что вскоре для Давиде Гроссо и его неразлучных друзей-партнеров откроет свои двери очень важный рынок, что позволит им внести свой вклад в развитие эко-транспорта, не отказываясь при этом от красоты и даже роскоши.

Al nuovo Museo Navale di Imperia sembra quasi di sentirlo davvero quell’odore di mare e di leggenda, fatto di lunghe navigazioni, tecnica e uomini coraggiosi. Al mare, e a tutte le sue sfumature, è dedicata la struttura museale che, dopo aver lasciato la storica sede in Piazza del Duomo, ha trovato la sua ideale collocazione nei locali ristrutturati di via Scarincio, a ridosso del bacino portuale di Porto Maurizio, a ribadire il legame con l’elemento marino. Del resto la stessa Imperia vanta una profonda e antica tradizione marinara, come testimonia la celebre statua dedicata ai Capohornier, situata sulla banchina Medaglie d’Oro. Grandi navigatori, barche a vela, mitologie della marineria, ma non solo. Il viaggio all’interno del Museo Navale di Imperia inizia dal fondo del mare, e da un prezioso tesoro affondato in epoca romana. Si tratta dei dolia, antichi ed enormi recipienti in terracotta per il vino che, trasportati dalla nave Felix Pacata, affondata a largo della costa del Ponente, furono recuperati dal team di Nino Lambo-

glia, iniziatore dell’archeologia subacquea. Delle attività subacquee dell’uomo in mare racconta anche il diorama che riproduce un palombaro in assetto di lavoro, un sommozzatore e una speciale torretta butoscopica da alte profondità. Salendo al primo piano del Museo, si incontrano i racconti delle navi da recupero Rostro e Artiglio, tra mute da palombaro che testimoniano l’evoluzione della tecnica, allestimenti didattici che mostrano la discesa in acqua e filmati dedicati alle esplorazioni subacquee. Particolarità di questa parte di Museo (una seconda è in via di definizione e sarà prettamente storico-collezionistica) è l’interattività e la didattica, tra modellini, pannelli illustrativi e simpatici video in cui personaggi della marineria accompagnano la visita. È così possibile entrare a bordo di grandi transatlantici, come il Sestriere, spiare attraverso il periscopio dello Scirè, affondato durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, pilotare una nave fuori dallo Stretto di Gibilterra manovrando un vero timone, o esercitarsi con le segnalazioni marittime e l’alfabeto internazionale. Suggestiva la collezione di divise e uniformi originali degli anni ‘40 o la telescrivente dello

Stocholm, che nel 1956 affondò l’Andrea Doria. Sul Sestriere ricostruito, tra un oblò e una bussola, è stata installata una stazione radio funzionante, che rievoca il lavoro dei marconisti di bordo. Al centro del primo piano spicca il modellino di una barca a vela, animata da un’elica che genera vento simulandone la navigazione. A illustrare i punti cardinali e la generazione dell’intensità delle correnti, ecco la Rosa dei Venti e la Macchina del Vento. Non poteva mancare, nella città che le celebra da 30 anni, una sala dedicata alle Vele d’Epoca di Imperia. Infine, il mare esprime tutta la sua meraviglia nella sala dedicata al Santuario Pelagos, dove prendono vita attraverso video e foto le sinuose e magnifiche forme di balenottere e delfini. Se siete pronti a salpare per un meraviglioso viaggio alla scoperta delle storie del mare, della sua gente e dei suoi tesori, il Museo Navale di Imperia è aperto tutti i martedì dalle 9,30 alle 11,30, dal 1 giugno al 30 settembre, i giorni di giovedì, venerdì e sabato dalle 17,30 alle 21,30. Domenica e lunedì il museo è chiuso.

The Imperia Naval Museum A journey of fascinating and legendary discoveries of a thousand secrets of the sea and navigation Ropes, hulls, surface-supplied divers, rudders, sails and fair winds. At the new Museo Navale di Imperia (Imperia Naval Museum) the senses are truly aroused by the smell of the sea and the magic of legend: long voyages, technologies and valiant men. The museum, dedicated to the sea and all its nuances, has moved from its historic location in Piazza del Duomo to the renovated buildings on via Scarincio, where it is now perfectly located close to Porto Maurizio’s harbour basin, underlining its connection to the maritime environment. Sitting on the Medaglie d’Oro quay is the famous statue dedicated to Cape Horners, confirming Imperia’s deep and historical maritime tradition. Great navigators, sailing ships, maritime mythologies, and much more. At the Museo Navale di Imperia the journey begins at the bottom of the sea with a precious treasure sunk in Roman times. Known as the dolia, these enormous ancient terracotta wine vessels were being transported by the Felix Pacata when it sank off Liguria’s west coast, they were recovered by Nino Lamboglia, the pioneer of underwater archaeology, and his team. In addition, telling the story of people conducting underwater operations is a diorama, which illustrates a fully equipped surface-supplied diver, a scuba diver and a special “exploration turret” for deep sea recoveries. On the first floor of the museum the stories of the Rostro and Artiglio recovery vessels are told, with surface-supplied diving suits illustrating the evolution of the technology, informative displays showing the descent in water and deep-sea exploration videos. The uniqueness of this section of the museum (another section is currently being designed and will

be exclusively dedicated to historical collections) is in its interactive and educational aspects, with small models, illustrative panels and enjoyable videos in which maritime personalities guide the visitors. They can step aboard great ocean liners, like the Sestriere, spy through the periscope of the Scirè, sunk during World War II, navigate a ship out of the Strait of Gibraltar using a real rudder, or practise maritime signalling and the international alphabet. There is also a fine collection of original liveries and uniforms from the 40s or the teleprinter from the Stockholm, the ship which sunk the Andrea Doria in 1956. On the reconstructed Sestriere, between a porthole and a compass, a functioning radio station has been installed, to re-evoke the work of the radio operators on board. A model of a sailing ship sits in the middle of the first floor, brought to life by a wind-generating screw that simulates the sailing. The compass rose and wind machine illustrate the cardinal points and the generation of current strengths. In the city which has been celebrating them for over 30 years, a room entirely dedicated to the Vele d’Epoca di Imperia (Imperia’s Historical Sailing Ships) was an absolute must. Finally, the sea reveals all its wonders in a room dedicated to the Pelagos Sanctuary, where the magnificent sinuous forms of fin whales and dolphins take shape though videos and photos. Ready to set sail on a wonderful journey to discover the history of the sea, its people and its treasures? The Museo Navale di Imperia is open every Tuesday from 9.30 am to 11.30 am (from 1 June to 30 September), and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 5.30 pm to 9.30 pm (all year round). The museum is closed on Sunday and Monday.

Переехав с Соборной площади (Piazza del Duomo) города, где он исторически располагался, Музей нашел свое идеальное место в полностью отреставрированных помещениях на улице Скаринчо, недалеко от Порто Маурицио. А в целом Империя имеет глубокие древние морские традиции, что подтверждает знаменитая статуя, посвященная мореплавателям Caphornier, расположенная на дамбе Medaglie d’Oro. Так что вы сможете подняться на борт больших трансатлантических лайнеров, как «Sestriere», посмотреть в перископ с корабля «Scirè», затонувшего во время Второй Мировой войны, провести корабль через Гибралтарский пролив, держа в руках настоящий штурвал, поупражняться с флагами международного свода сигналов. Очень интересны коллекция униформы сороковых годов и телетайп с корабля «Stocholm», который в 1956 году пробил палубу и потопил лайнер «Andrea Doria». А на «Sestriere» между иллюминатором и компасом установлена работающая радиостанция, воскрешающая в памяти работу бортовых радистов. Если хотите поближе познакомиться с иторией моря и его сокровищами, то Корабельный музей Империи открыт по вторникам с 9:30 до 11:30, а с 1 июня по 30 сентября по четвергам, пятницам и субботам с 17:30 до 21:30. В воскресенье Музей закрыт.

porta che divide il presente dal passato. Pochi passi che separano il caotico mondo dei nostri tempi da quello magico e misterioso del Medioevo. Questa è la sensazione meravigliosa che avvolge chi, come noi di Sanremo.it, si è fatto accompagnare nella Pigna, il centro storico di Sanremo, tra alte mura, porte e “valium”. Cicerone d’eccezione Giacomo Mannisi, dipendente del Comune di Sanremo con la passione per la storia locale. Ed è proprio Mannisi, affiancato nel tour da Anna Blangetti, che inizia il racconto delle prime edificazioni sanremesi, partendo da Porta Santo Stefano, una degli undici accessi a difesa della città. “Le porte della Pigna si trovano in rapida successione e segnano i varchi alle tre cerchie di mura sorte a difesa di una città che negli anni si è espansa – spiega

Mannisi – e che aveva l’esigenza di difendersi dalle incursioni dei nemici che, per lo più, arrivavano dal mare”. Man mano che si sale e che ci si addentra nella città vecchia, tra stretti caruggi e scalinate, la Pigna – così ribattezzata per la caratteristica forma che emerge dal groviglio di case che la compone - mostra agli occhi dei visitatori uno spettacolo molto suggestivo. A pochi passi dalla prima porta si apre la caratteristica Piazza dei Dolori, con il suo oratorio, costruito nel 1508 e sormontato dagli stemmi cittadini, e il palazzo Pretorio. Poco più avanti Via Luca Spinola, con l’omonimo palazzo storico che ha ospitato il podestà di Genova, il palazzo della famiglia dei Fornari, fatto restaurare dall’allora pretore e Palazzo Manara, che ha ospitato nel 1538 addirittura Papa Paolo III° , di ritorno da Avignone. Continuando a salire e attraversando le altre Porte, con le loro feritoie, nate per poter ve-

dere chi si stava avvicinando, si passa dalla piccola, ma piena di storia, Cappella Bottini e, attraverso la Porta San Giuseppe, datata 1560, con i suoi portali originali, si arriva all’omonima chiesa sorta nel 1571. Il viaggio nella storia della Pigna porta i visitatori alla scoperta della piccola Piazza Capitolo, con il mistero legato alle sue origini e al suo nome e ancora alla bella piazza Santa Brigida. Tra i luoghi più suggestivi e che meritano una sosta c’è la cosiddetta “Fontanassa”, un’antica sorgente dalla quale ancora oggi l’acqua continua a sgorgare nella cantina di un’abitazione privata, alla quale i gentili proprietari alla nostra guida consentono l’accesso. Un finale davvero suggestivo prima di rituffarci nel frenetico mondo moderno.

Pigna A door that divides the present from the past. Few steps that separate the chaotic world of our times from the magic and mysterious Middle Ages. This is the wonderful feeling that envelops those who, like us of Sanremo.it, have been accompanied in Pigna, the old town of Sanremo, between high walls, gates and “valium”. Exceptional Cicero for the occasion: Giacomo Mannisi, employee of the Municipality of Sanremo, with a passion for the local history. And it is precisely Mannisi, accompanied by Anna Blangetti during the tour, who begins the story about the first Sanremo buildings, starting from Porta Santo Stefano, one of the eleven defensive accesses to the city. “Pigna’s gates are in rapid succession and mark the passages to the three circles of walls built in defence of a city that expanded over the years – Mannisi explains – and had the need of defending itself from the enemy invasions who were coming from the sea the most of the times. As you climb up and enter into the old town, between narrow alleyways and staircases, Pigna – named so because of the characteristic shape that emerges from the maze of houses it is made of – displays a very spectacular show to the visitors’ eyes. A few steps from the first gate,

the characteristic Piazza dei Dolori (“Square of Sorrows”) reveals itself, with its oratory, built in 1508 and surmounted by the civic insignias, and the Pretorio palace. A little further on, Luca Spinola Street, with the homonymous historical palace that housed the Genoa podestà, the Fornari family palace, restored by the former praetor, and Manara Palace, which even hosted in 1538 Pope Paul III while he was returning from Avignon. Continuing to climb up and crossing the other Gates, with their louvres, built to see who was approaching, you then move from the small, but full of history, Bottini Chapel and, through Porta San Giuseppe, dated 1560, with its original gates, you arrive at the homonymous church built in 1571. The journey into the Pigna’s history leads the visitors to discover the small Piazza Capitolo (“Chapter Square”), with the mystery of its origins and name and, moreover, the Santa Brigida square. Among the most suggestive places that are worth a stop is the so-called “Fontanassa”, an ancient spring from which the water continues to flow still today into the basement of a private house, whose gentle owners allow access to our guide. A truly impressive finale before we immerse again into the hectic modern world.

storia passa da Ventimiglia ed è grazie al “SiMuVe - Sistema Musei Ventimiglia” - che si possono scoprire i passaggi dell’uomo paleolitico, degli antichi romani e degli inglesi dell’Epoca Vittoriana.

Il Museo Preistorico dei Balzi Rossi, a poche centinaia di metri dal confine francese, è stato fondato nel 1898 da sir Thomas Hanbury, in seguito alle scoperte di reperti di manufatti prodotti dall’uomo paleolitico, che abitò nella zona tra 230mila e 10mila anni fa. Ma il museo dei Balzi Rossi non è l’unico omaggio al territorio da parte del baronetto britannico. I suoi giardini botanici, fondati nel 1867, sono fra i più importanti giardini storici “inglesi” con innumerevoli specie di

piante che hanno trovato a Capo Mortola il loro habitat ideale, dal giardino dei profumi alla foresta australiana, dalle mimose agli agrumi, alle rose. Proseguendo verso levante troviamo il Forte dell’Annunziata. Fatto edificare dal Governo Sabaudo tra il 1831 e il 1837 per rafforzare i propri confini occidentali, offre ai suoi visitatori una vista mozzafiato a picco sul mare ed è oggi sede del Museo Civico Archeologico “Girolamo Rossi” (MAR) oltre ad ospitare un ricco calendario di manifestazioni ed eventi. Il MAR conserva i reperti della città romana di Albintimilium e di alcune collezioni di fine Ottocento.

A pochi passi dal Forte, si erge il centro storico di Ventimiglia alta, uno dei più grandi della Liguria, che conserva, all’interno delle mura medievali, con rifacimenti cinquecenteschi, importanti monumenti pubblici, religiosi e privati che testimoniano la vita della città dall’altomedioevo sino all’Ottocento.

Alla periferia orientale della città sono visitabili i resti dell’antica città di Albintimilium, fondata dai romani nel corso del II secolo a.C. L’area archeologica conserva tratti delle antiche mura, delle porte urbiche, delle strade e di alcuni monumenti pubblici (teatro e terme) e privati (domus signorili e alcune insulae residenziali).

SiMuVe - the Ventimiglia Museum System History passes by Ventimiglia and thanks to the “SiMuVe Sistema Musei Ventimiglia” we can discover the presence in passage of the Palaeolithic man, the ancient Romans, and the British of the Victorian Age. The Balzi Rossi Prehistoric Museum, a few hundred meters from the French border, was founded by Sir Thomas Hanbury in 1898, following discoveries of artefacts belonging to the Palaeolithic man who lived in the area between 230,000 and 10,000 years ago. But the Balzi Rossi Museum is not the only tribute to this land by the British Baronet. His botanical gardens, founded in 1867, are one of the most important historic “English” gardens with countless plant species that have their ideal habitat in Capo Mortola, the perfume garden and the Australian forest, mimosas, citrus fruits, and roses. Moving towards east, we reach Forte dell’Annunziata built by the Sabaudo Government between 1831 and 1837 to strengthen the western boundaries. Visitors can

enjoy a breath-taking view onto the sea and it now houses the “Girolamo Rossi” Archaeological Museum (MAR), as well as being the venue of many events. The MAR preserves the finds of the Roman city of Albintimilium and of some collections dating back to the late Nineteenth century. A few steps from the Fort, is the old town of Ventimiglia Alta, one of the largest in Liguria and that preserves, within the medieval walls, with Sixteenth-century reconstructions, important public, religious and private monuments testifying the life of the city from the early Middle Ages until the Nineteenth century. The remains of the ancient city of Albintimilium can be visited on the city’s eastern outskirts. Founded by the Romans during the Second century BC, the archaeological area preserves traces of ancient walls, urban gates, streets and some public monuments like the theatre and thermae and private ones like stately homes and residential areas).

Pineta del Capo di Bordighera Alta è un’affascinante polmone verde situato a ridosso di Palazzo Garnier, sede del municipio di Bordighera e caratterizzato da suggestivi scorci che affacciano sul mare. Negli ultimi anni è al centro di un ambizioso progetto di recupero che proprio in questi mesi sta riprendendo quota dopo i primi interventi effettuati anche su altre due bellezze naturali di Bordighera. L’area si snoda tra secolari pini marittimi della classica macchia mediterranea ed è una delle zone di Bordighera più frequentate dai giovani la sera e, soprattutto, durante il giorno, dalle famiglie con bambini piccoli. Nell’area si trova anche l’antica polveriera (il marabutto o marabuttu), costruzione militare

di estrazione araba con uno dei caratteristici cannoni che puntavano verso il mare, ma che non furono sufficienti a impedire lo sbarco degli inglesi ai primi dell’800. Il marabutto è stato recentemente (2015) riportato al suo antico splendore e a una delle finestrelle è stata nuovamente applicata una grossa conchiglia, meta preferita da grandi e piccini per ascoltare la riproduzione dei caratteristici suoi del mare. Per ben due volte, negli ultimi mesi, la conchiglia è stata oggetto dell’attenzione dei ladri o più probabilmente vandali. “Ogni volta che la dovessero portare via noi la rimetteremo lì al suo posto. E questo in eterno – ha dichiarato il sindaco di Bordighera Giacomo Pallanca - Non farlo vorrebbe dire darla vinta a chi fa deliberatamente un danno alla collettività. Arriverà il

giorno che qualcuno verrà colto sul fatto e pagherà per tutti”.

I cannoni – di cui come detto ne è stato recuperato uno soltanto - furono posizionati a protezione della costa a partire dal 1783 (due batterie: oltre a quella sul Capo, un’altra alla Ruota, in regione Bagnabraghe). I tre pezzi a ridosso della Pineta del Capo, disposti intorno alla polveriera del Marabutto, erano detti, ironicamente, Butafoegu, Tiralogni e Cagastrasse. Dopo che il 14 luglio del 1811 una nave inglese fu bombardata da quei cannoni, poco più di un anno dopo (19 luglio 1812) due fregate e un vascello inglesi sbarcarono quasi 200 uomini, che per dare prova di forza marciarono sul capo e si portarono via pure i cannoni.

In recent years, it has been involved by an ambitious recovery project that has taken off again in recent months after the first interventions carried out on other two natural beauties of Bordighera. The area winds through secular maquis maritime pines and is one of Bordighera’s most popular areas, for young people in the evening and, especially, by families with young children during the day. In the area, there is also an ancient powder magazine (marabutto or marabuttu), an Arab-style

military building with one of the characteristic cannons that were pointed towards the sea, but not sufficient to prevent the landing of the British at the beginning of 1800. The marabutto has been recently returned to its ancient splendour (2015) and a big shell has been reapplied to one of the windows, a favourite spot for young and old to listen to the sound of the sea. The shell has attracted thieves or, more likely, vandals twice in recent months. “Whenever they take it away we will replace it. And we will do so forever - said Giacomo Pallanca, mayor of Bordighera – not to do so would mean giving in to those who deliberately harm the community. The day will come when someone will be

caught red-handed and will pay for everyone.” The cannons – of which, as mentioned, only one has been recovered - were positioned to protect the coast from 1783 (two batteries: in addition to Capo, another one is located at Ruota in the Bagnabraghe region). The three pieces near Pineta del Capo, arranged around the Marabutto Powder magazine, were ironically called Butafoegu, Tiralogni and Cagastrasse. These cannons bombarded an English ship on July 14, 1811 and, just over a year later (July 19, 1812), two frigates and a British vessel disembarked nearly 200 men who, to prove their strength, marched on Capo and took the cannons away with them.

Являясь «легкими» Бордигеры, в последние годы рощица стала центром амбициозного проекта ее восстановления, который начинается как раз в эти месяцы после того, как подобные работы были проведены и для других природных красот города. Этот зеленый уголок с его столетними приморскими соснами, классическими для средиземноморской натуры, в вечерние часы охотно посещает молодежь, а днем здесь гуляют родители с маленькими детьми. Здесь же находится старинный арабский пороховой склад (marabutto или marabuttu), как и пушки, направленные в сторону моря, которых, однако было недостаточно, чтобы предотвратить высадку англичан в начале девятнадцатого века. Feste sono in programma fino alla prima settimana di agosto: sabato 8 e domenica 9 luglio a Dolceacqua; domenica 16 luglio a Cosio d’Arroscia; sabato 22 e domenica 23 luglio a Ormea; sabato 29 luglio a Pietrabruna; domenica 30 luglio ad Airole; domenica 6 agosto a Pigna. L’attenzione attorno alla lavanda, alla sua conoscenza, alla versatilità che affonda le radici nei secoli dei secoli è grande: proprio a giugno, ad esempio, in via sperimentale, è stata avviata la creazione (primo start

I prossimi IPoint ad essere aperti saranno quelli di Borgomaro con la collaborazione di un azienda produttrice di lavanda aderente all’associazione produttori Lavanda Riviera dei Fiori; quello di Garlenda in collaborazione con la Pro Loco dove all’interno dell’ufficio Turistico troverà spazio un corner del prodotti Lavanda della Riviera dei Fiori; quello di Caprauna presso il Rifugio Pian dell’Arma dove alla già presente ospitalità e informazione turistica si affiancherà il corner di prodotti del progetto Lavanda.

There are fairs scheduled throughout the summer up until early August: Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 July in Dolceacqua; Sunday 16 July in Cosio d’Arroscia; Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July in Ormea; Saturday 29 July in Pietrabruna; Sunday 30 July in Airole; Sunday 6 August in Pigna. There will be different types: some complete (info point and shop), some hybrid (small shop + info) and some just shops. The IPoint in Seborga will be complete, where the local administration, associations and operators have collaborated to create a tourist information and hotel booking point, as well as a shop where lavender related and other local products can be purchased. Future IPoints will be opened in Borgomaro, in collaboration with a lavender production company, which is a member of the association of Lavanda Riviera dei Fiori producers; in Garlenda, in collaboration with the Pro Loco association, where a small shop selling Lavanda Riviera dei Fiori products will be located within the Tourist Information Office; in Caprauna at the Rifugio Pian dell’Arma where a small shop selling progetto Lavanda (Lavender project) products will be added to the hospitality and tourist information that are already provided. Внимание к лаванде, об универсальности которой знали уже наши предки, огромное: как раз в июне стартует экспериментальная программа «IPoint», которая направлена на то, чтобы познакомить гостей с прекрасными винами и гастрономическими ценностями территории. Одна из таких жемчужин Лигурии - лаванда. «IPoint» - это путешествие в традиции, историю и одновременно обучение питанию через многие источники: справочные окошки, точки обслуживания, коммерцию. «Появление этих пунктов очень важно, - написано на страницах lavandarivieradeifiori.it, - потому что нельзя забывать, что Лигурия вообще и верхняя часть долины Танаро, в частности, созданы для туризма, и туризм здесь является основной отраслью экономики. Con il progetto Antea del nuovo Crea, il Consiglio per la Ricerca in Agricoltura e per l’economia agraria, che ha sede a Sanremo, sarà possibile coltivare i cosiddetti fiori eduli, sinonimo di fiori commestibili. Alcune specie di questi fiori vengono già comunemente consumati a tavola, basti

pensare ai deliziosi fiori di zucca, oppure ai carciofi e alle loro mille ricette. A questi si potranno aggiungere garofani, begonie, nasturzio, rose e tanti altri. Il progetto è nato a Sanremo, ma si è arricchito anche dell’intervento degli studiosi della vicina Francia e si è classificato al primo posto di un concorso internazionale dedicato. Proprio in virtù di questo lusinghiero riconoscimento potrà ora diventare realtà. Madre e mentore del progetto è la direttrice del nuovo Crea, Barbara Ruffoni: “E’ un sogno che diventa realtà – spiega a Sanremo.it – poter

partire dalla città dei fiori con questo progetto innovativo ha un profondo significato. Si pensi che esistono più di 70 specie di fiori commestibili che potranno essere piantate, dopo una bonifica e riconversione del terreno. Il nostro progetto vedrà coinvolti anche grandi cuochi, che potranno portare, sulle tavole dei ristoranti più rinomati, piatti a base di fiori eduli e che potranno insegnare agli amanti dei fornelli la preparazione di prelibate ricette a base di garofani o begonie o altre specie. E il tutto a km 0!”

Thanks to the Antea project by the new Crea, the Council for Agriculture Research and Agrarian Economy, with headquarters in Sanremo, it will possible to cultivate the socalled edible flowers. Some species of these flowers are already commonly used, like the delicious courgette flowers, for example, artichokes and their thousand recipes. To these we can add carnations, begonias, nasturtium, roses, and many others. The project was born in Sanremo, but has been enriched also by the work of scholars from neighbouring France and

ranked first in a dedicated international competition. By virtue of this flattering award, it is now ready to become a reality. Barbara Ruffoni, the director of the new Crea is the mother and mentor of the project: “It’s a dream come true – she tells Sanremo.it - to be able to start from the city of flowers with this innovative project has a profound meaning. There are more than 70 species of edible flowers that can be planted after land reclamation and reconversion. Our project will also involve top chefs who will offer edible flower-based dishes to the clients of the most renowned restaurants and teach cuisine lovers how to prepare delicious recipes based on carnations or begonias or other species. Проект родился в Сан-Ремо при помощи ученых соседней Франции и занял первое место на международном конкурсе, посвященном этой теме. И во многом благодаря этому лестному признанию он может стать реальностью. Lunedì 24, martedì 25 e mercoledì 26 luglio sul Lungomare Argentina, dalle 18.30, IV edizione di Bordighera Un mare di sapori, per assaggiare il meglio della cucina bordigotta. Segnate sul calendario martedì 8 agosto per la V edizione di Bordighera Music Parade, grande festa estiva con sfilata di carri musicali su tutto il lungomare. Immancabile nelle estati bordigotte l’ormai celebre “Berlecata” a Sasso venerdì 11 agosto, per una serata di tradizione gastronomica, musica e divertimento. L’edizione estiva, sul lungomare di Vallecrosia, propone la degustazione dei prodotti di alcuni tra i migliori birrifici artigianali d’Italia, con particolare attenzione a quelli liguri e piemontesi. La festa, che avrà inizio alle ore 19, fino a tarda notte, con band musicali e attrazioni, culminerà in uno spettacolo pirotecnico e musicale alle ore 23. Sanremo nelle calde serate estive si anima in particolare nella zona portuale, tra il Forte di Santa Tecla e Pian di Nave: il 30 luglio sarà la volta di “Il Tenco Ascolta”, a seguire, nel fascino del centro storico della Pigna, dal 2 al 5 agosto “Rock in the casbah”. Il 14 agosto il concerto di Ferragosto e i tradizionali fuochi d’artificio, dal 16 al 19 agosto l’appuntamento con UnoJazz Festival Internazionale di Musica Jazz a Sanremo. Sanremo è anche tanto sport: dal 6 al 9 luglio c’è l’Europa Cup 2017 al Circolo Tennis Sanremo, dal 29 al 30 luglio la 24orissima Sanremo beach volley e la straordinaria La Via Del Sale, da Limone a Sanremo dall’1 al 3 settembre. Per tutto il periodo estivo saranno presenti tanti mercatini, tra le piazze del centro e il lungomare Imperatrice. A Ventimiglia da giugno a settembre, nelle location più suggestive come la spiaggia dei Balzi Rossi, il Forte dell’Annunziata e il Teatro Romano, in scena grandi artisti come Michele Placido, Alessandro Haber, Pippo Del Bono e Laura Marinoni. Tra gli eventi più attesi nella città di confine certamente l’Agosto Medievale (dal 3 al 5 agosto) una festa che per tre giorni riporta il borgo antico indietro di 700 anni con rievocazioni storiche, sapori tradizionali e spettacoli a tema rigorosamente con i costumi dell’epoca. È infatti nel teatro naturale del sagrato della chiesa che prenderà vita la terza edizione di Imperia Unplugged Festival, la rassegna musicale gratuita che quest’anno porterà nel capoluogo artisti come Ermal Meta ed Emanuele Dabbono. Oltre a molte altre sorprese, come racconta Nico Zanchi, presidente dell’Associazione Imperia Musicale che dal 2015 organizza il Festival: “Il festival si preannuncia un evento, ed è ciò che vogliamo, nell’intento di ravvivare la città: ci dobbiamo aspettare una grande festa”. Non solo musica per la città, ma laboratorio: tornerà infatti anche quest’anno Palco Aperto, che coinvolgerà tanti giovani artisti nel pomeriggio di martedì 8 agosto, una premessa al Festival serale costruita per dare la possibilità agli emergenti di farsi ascoltare suonando dal vivo. Se la prova ufficiale di Palco Aperto, nel

2015, era stata organizzata “on the road”, intercettando musicisti per strada, nel 2016 il format ha invece raccolto una ventina di adesioni. “Speriamo che quest’anno i numeri aumentino ancora – si augura Zanchi – anche perché gli artisti della serata si fermano ad ascoltare e conoscere i giovani. L’anno scorso Zibba ha seguito e guardato tutte le esibizioni e così ha conosciuto i Seawards di cui ora produrrà un EP. Il nostro obiettivo è questo: dare la possibilità di farsi ascoltare a chi di solito suona solo tra le mura di casa. Abbiamo già chiesto disponibilità alla casa discografica di Ermal Meta, la Mescal, affinché gli artisti si fermino ad ascoltare il Palco Aperto anche quest’anno”. All’evento estivo fa da ideale premessa un altro format proposto da Imperia Musicale, attivo dallo scorso gennaio. IM Songrwriter’s Nights è il nome di una serie di appuntamenti, realizzati in collaborazione con il Bar11, che nel corso dei mesi ha radunato cantautori e gruppi: “I ri-

scontri sono positivi – conferma Zanchi – le serate non sono facili: si tratta di artisti che propongono pezzi scritti da loro e non cover, il pubblico nonostante tutto è coinvolto e apprezza”. Altro appuntamento preparatorio all’Imperia Unplugged Festival sarà quello del 29 luglio nell’anfiteatro della Rabina, un concerto acustico dedicato a Sergio Salvagno, vittima di un drammatico incidente nel 2014, al quale saranno destinati i fondi raccolti durante la serata. Oltre a Ermal Meta, terzo al Festival di Sanremo 2017 e Premio della Critica Mia Martini, con l’album Vietato Morire, e a Emanuele Dabbono, autore di “Il conforto”, il duetto tra Tiziano Ferro e Carmen Consoli, il cast di Imperia Unplugged festival includerà anche il varazzino Edoardo Chiesa, finalista alle targhe Tenco 2015. “Siamo sulla strada giusta – conclude Zanchi – tante associazioni cittadine ci stanno coinvolgendo, ci fa piacere essere pare attiva della città. Piazza San Giovanni può diventare una splendida area concerto: la serata dell’8 agosto si svolgerà in acustico, sarà un’ora e mezza di musica dal vivo in una piazza che diventerà calda, magica”. IM Songwriter’s Nights is the name given to a series of sessions organised in collaboration with Bar11 where a number of singer-songwriters and bands have appeared in recent months: “We’ve had some great feedback – confirms Zanchi – the soirées are not straightforward: these artists play tracks they’ve written themselves, not covers, the audience is nevertheless engaged and appreciative”. Another preliminary event for the Imperia Unplugged Festival will take place on 29 July in the anfiteatro della Rabina (Rabina amphitheatre): an acoustic concert dedicated to Sergio Salvagno, who was involved in a terrible accident in 2014 and to whom any proceeds collected during the evening will go.

Nico Zanchi, president of the Associazione Imperia Musicale which has been organising the Festival since 2015, tells us about the many other surprises: “The Festival is expected to be an event that will reinvigorate the city, and this is exactly what we are aiming for: it will be a huge party”. Not just music for the city, but a music workshop too: as a prelude to the evening Festival, during the afternoon of Tuesday 8 August, the Palco Aperto (Open Stage) will be back this year to give many promising young performers the chance to showcase their talents live. И кроме того, по словам Нино Занки, президента Музыкальной ассоциации Империи, который является организатором Фестиваля с 2015 года, зрителей ожидают сюрпризы: «Фестиваль обещает стать важным событием, мы стремимся к тому, чтобы оживить наш город. violino di Uto Ughi aprirà la 54^ edizione del Festival Internazionale di Musica da Camera di Cervo dal 14 luglio al 28 agosto prossimi. Nel segno della tradizione e della qualità: virtuosismo, peculiarità d’interpretazione ed eccellenza, la grande musica tornerà sotto le stelle nell’affascinante scenario del sagrato della piazza dei Corallini, un palcoscenico “magico”, ambito e calcato dai più grandi musicisti della nostra epoca. Diciotto appuntamenti compongono un cartellone di generi differenti: dai concerti del classico filone cameristico alle esecuzioni cross over dedicate a generi variegati. Novità di questa edizione, un concerto anteprima nella Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista la sera del 12 luglio, in collaborazione con Associazione Rapallo Musica e Lion’s Club Imperia Host, con l’organista austriaco Johannes Strobl.

Dal 14 luglio spazio ai grandi nomi: oltre a Ughi, accompagnato al pianoforte da Andrea Bacchetti, si esibiranno il celebre pianista Pietro De Maria e giovani talenti emergenti, già riconosciuti a livello internazionale, tra cui Ronaldo Rolim, il violinista Noe Inui, i pianisti Honggi Kim e Junhee Kim. La violinista Patricia Kopatchinskaja sarà protagonista, il 29 luglio, del concerto dedicato a Sandor Vegh, storico fondatore del Festival di cui ricorre il ventennale della morte. Seguiranno poi eclettici interpreti di jazz e musica popolare con il trio di Carlo Aonzo e il suo andolin Journey, il Devil Quartet di Paolo Fresu e il New Musette Quartet di Richard Galliano, con incursioni nella musica classica di Vivaldi e Bach e omaggi al Tango Argentino e alle colonne sonore di Nino Rota. Altre interessanti formazioni ed ensemble, saranno protagoniste del Festival, come l’Ottet-

In the name of tradition and quality: virtuosity, peculiarity of interpretation and excellence, great music is back under the stars in the charming setting of piazza dei Corallini, a “magical” stage, yearned for and tread on by the greatest musicians of our time. Eighteen events on the bill: from chamber concerts to cross over performances dedicated to different genres. The novelty of this edition, a preview concert in the Church of San Giovanni Battista with the Austrian organist Johannes Strobl, in collaboration with the Associazione Rapallo Musica and Lion’s Club Imperia Host, on the evening of July 12. Valle Argentina, nell’entroterra di Taggia, c’è chi si è innamorato del suono dell’arpa celtica e ha deciso di diventarne produttore. Grazie alla collaborazione del Comune di Montalto ligure che ha fornito i locali, Andrea Novella ha aperto il laboratorio Bardic Strings, specializzato nella realizzazione di arpe ed altri strumenti artigianali quali whistle irlandesi e flauti traversi. Tutto è nato dalla passione personale di Novella per la cultura celtica, con i suoi miti e leggende, che lo ha avvicinato all’arpa gaelica, strumento tradizionale del folklore di Scozia e Irlanda. Seguendo le origini familiari montaltine, Novella si è trasferito nel borgo della Valle Argentina e ha deciso di aprire una

vera bottega artigiana. Qui realizza sia modelli da lui ideati, sia strumenti progettati ad hoc sposando le esigenze del committente. Esistono diverse tipologie del cláirseach, questo il nome in gaelico irlandese dell’arpa celtica. La “linea aire” propone strumenti caratterizzati da un suono molto ampio e caldo, che richiama le antiche arpe con corde in bronzo, ideali per suonare un repertorio irlandese, gallese e bretone. Dotati di una tensione piuttosto alta per un’arpa celtica, paragonabile ad un’arpa classica, sono quindi perfettamente adatti alla preparazione di una tecnica classica. Andrea Novella realizza anche arpe della “linea fiery”, ideali per suonare jig veloci e in generale pezzi vivaci.

Esiste, infine, la “linea filid” che sposa la tradizione (anche costruttiva) delle antiche cláirseach con una dimensione compatta che ne permette un’agile portabilità. Pur nelle dimensioni ridotte, i modelli di questa serie si contraddistinguono per il suono ampio e forte paragonabile a quello di arpe più grandi. Chi ha provato le arpe celtiche firmate Bardic Strings riconosce loro un’insolita omogeneità timbrica tra le corde alte e le corde basse, qualità rara e fondamentale nel momento in cui si intenda amplificare lo strumento. non tutti sanno che una pipa, quella in radica nello specifico, nasce dal legno di erica, pianta tipica della macchia mediterranea, diffusa nel Ponente ligure e in Costa Azzurra. La trasformazione del legno in prodotto finito richiede un procedimento lungo oltre due anni che solo mani esperte di artigiani specializzati conoscono. Mani esperte come quelle di Domenico Giordano che negli anni ‘60 trasferì la sua arte sapiente dalla Calabria, terra ricca di arbusti di erica, alla lontana Liguria. Qui, a Badalucco, in Valle Argentina, fondò nel 1967 l’omonima azienda “Giordano Pipe”.

Da allora Domenico Giordano segue un rigido disciplinare di preparazione. Sceglie personalmente le radici di erica da lavorare che devono avere almeno 25 o 30 anni di vita, in quanto si necessitano parti di legno di notevoli dimensioni. La radica prelevata dal “ciocco” viene pulita dopo la raccolta da ogni agente estraneo (terra, muschio) e conservata in magazzini interrati, al riparo da sole e vento, e tenuta costantemente umidificata. Successivamente si passa al taglio, alla “sbozzatura” in placche e abbozzi sezionati seguendo la trama della radica e le sue tipiche venature. Ed è qui che emerge l’esperienza del mastro segantino in grado di ottenere da ogni placca il maggior numero di pezzi

di buona qualità e valorizzando al meglio le venature naturali. Gli abbozzi sono sottoposti a bollitura per ben 24 ore in grandi calderoni di rame. Scopo: sciogliere resine e tannini del terreno, per eliminare ogni eventuale sapore amaro residuo, e asciugare la linfa, evitando che il legno si possa rompere. La quarta fase della lavorazione consiste nell’essiccazione, che avviene, prima, su graticci e, in seguito, in sacchi di juta dove rimarranno per circa due anni. A questo punto gli abbozzi saranno pronti per l’intaglio e per creare le apprezzate pipe Giordano.

The pipes of Valle Argentina Perhaps not everyone knows that a pipe, in particular the briar-root pipe, originates from the heather wood, typical plant of the Mediterranean scrub, spread in the West Liguria and Cote d’Azur. The wood processing into the finished product requires a process over two years long that only the expert hands of specialised craftsmen know. Expert hands like those of Domenico Giordano who, in the 1960s, transferred his skilful art from Calabria, land rich in heather shrubs, to the distant Liguria. Here, in Badalucco, in Valle Argentina, he founded the company of the same name “Giordano Pipe” in 1967.

Since then, Domenico Giordano has been followed a rigid preparation discipline. He personally chooses the heather roots to be processed that must be at least 25-30 years old because large pieces of wood are required. The briar-root extracted from the log is cleaned after the harvest so to remove any external agent (soil, moss) and stored in underground warehouses, sheltered from sun and wind, and kept constantly humidified. After that, the next stage is the cutting, the rough-hewing in plaques and outlines sectioned following the briar-root texture and its typical veining. And here is the experience of the master sawyer

who is able to get the most good quality pieces from each plaque valorising its natural veining. The outlines are boiled for 24 hours in large copper cauldrons. Purpose: melting the soil resins and tannins to remove any residual bitter taste and dry the lymph, avoiding wood breaking. The fourth stage of the process is the drying, which occurs first on trellises and after in jute sacks where they will remain for about two years. At this point, the outlines will be ready for the carving and creation of the popular Giordano pipes.

Nessun pane sposa il pomodoro come quello di Triora. Sono fatti l’uno per l’altro. Fin dall’origine del mondo, sono stati creati per unirsi.” Così la scrittrice Rosella Postorino celebra il Pane di Triora nel suo libro “Il mare in salita”. Il pane così romanticamente descritto nasce a Triora, borgo della Valle Argentina celebre per essere la patria delle streghe per antonomasia. Il nome del paese trova origine da “tria ora”, tre bocche, le fauci di cerbero che nella tradizione rappresenterebbero i tre prodotti su cui si basava anticamente l’economia locale: grano, castagne e vite.

Nel secondo dopoguerra, rifacendosi ad antiche ricette tramandate oralmente, Angiolino Asplanato, panettiere di Triora, decise di riprenderne la produzione. La lavorazione e gli ingredienti garantivano una eccezionale conservabilità, caratteristica di non poco conto per una economia che iniziava a risollevarsi, ma con ancora poche risorse. Le materie prime erano quelle del territorio: l’acqua delle fonti alpine e il grano di cui allora la Valle Argentina era ricca. Il taglio era, ed è ancora oggi, quello del pane di montagna: pagnotte da 500 grammi o da un chilo, riconoscibili per la tipica forma tonda e larga, l’interno dorato, l’esterno croccante e ricoperto da uno spolvero di

crusca su cui viene adagiato il pane prima della cottura. Ingrediente principe del Pane di Triora, inserito nell’elenco nazionale dei Prodotti Agroalimentari Tradizionali (PAT), una sorta di marchio di qualità concesso dal Ministero, è la farina di tipo 1, più ricca di fibre, vitamine e sali minerali rispetto alle farine raffinate. Se non si ha la fortuna di capitare a Triora in un pomeriggio della settimana e mangiarlo direttamente nel panificio Asplanato, ancora caldo di forno, lo si può trovare in molti punti vendita sparsi nelle principali località della Riviera Ligure e dell’entroterra.

The cutting was, as it is still today, that of the mountain bread: 500 grams or a kilo loafs, recognizable for the typical round and large shape, golden inside and crispy outside and covered with a bran sprinkle on which the bread is laid before being baked. The main ingredient of the Triora Bread, included in the national list of Tradi-

tional Food Products (PATs) , a kind of quality mark granted by the Ministry, is the type 1 flour, richer in fibres, vitamins and mineral salts than refined flours. If you are not lucky enough to be in Triora on an afternoon during the week and eat it directly in the Asplanato’s bakery, still hot from the oven, you can find it in many stores scattered in the main places of the Ligurian Riviera and inland.

iniziamo a parlare di barbecue con Alessandro Oddone, espertissimo di una pratica gastronomica, che ormai pratica da anni, nel tempo libero dal suo impiego presso il Comune di Taggia, viene subito voglia di assaggiare uno dei suoi piatti.

Una squadra ben affiatata che nel giro di due anni ha partecipato a diversi campionati riservati ad esperti della materia, ottenendo ottimi piazzamenti. “Già il primo anno ci siamo classificati primi in un campionato e terzi e quarti in un altro. Un buon inizio direi”.

Innanzitutto bisogna sottolineare il fatto che il barbecue di cui andremo a parlare non è quello che, nell’immaginario collettivo, è rappresentato dalle classiche “grigliate” tra amici. Il barbecue di Oddone è una vera e propria tecnica di preparazione delle carni, così come è intesa nel Sud degli Stati Uniti.

Ma in cosa consiste una competizione di barbecue?

“Ho scoperto il barbecue 5 anni fa, durante un mio periodo “forzato” di fermo dal lavoro – racconta Oddone – attraverso trasmissioni e libri. Poi ho fatto un corso e lì ho conosciuto due appassionati come me e insieme abbiamo 112

“Innanzitutto occorre dire che si svolge in due giorni, perché la tecnica prevede la cottura dei pezzi di carne interi lontano dal fuoco. Ciò vuol dire che per cuocere la carne ci vogliono circa 15 ore con un risultato meraviglioso in termini di gusto e morbidezza – spiega Oddone – la gara prevede la preparazione di 4 piatti. Uno a base di manzo, uno di pollo, uno con le classiche costine di maiale e uno solo di maiale. Una volta preparati e cotti tutta la

notte, i piatti vengono portati davanti a sei giudici che, in separata sede, ne valutano la bellezza, il gusto e la morbidezza. La somma di tutti questi giudizi crea la classifica finale”. Come detto in due anni Oddone e i suoi amicisoci hanno partecipato a molte gare in Italia e in giro per il mondo e l’anno scorso a ottobre sono stati invitati all’American Royal che si svolge a Kansas City e che è la più grande gara al mondo di barbecue e alla quale si partecipa solo su invito. Ebbene anche in quell’occasione hanno saputo farsi valere e apprezzare. La squadra di Alessandro Oddone, Luca Contri e Marco Manzani dà appuntamento a tutti al Campionato italiano a Perugia e Modena in settembre e al Campionato mondiale in Irlanda nel prossimo mese di ottobre.

requires that the pieces of meat are cooked whole, away from the flame. Meaning that cooking the meat takes about 15 hours, resulting in wonderful flavour and tenderness - explains Oddone - the competition stipulates that four dishes must be prepared. A beef dish, a chicken dish, one with classic pork ribs and a separate pork dish. Once prepared and cooked overnight, the dishes are presented to six judges who, in a separate location, evaluate their appearance, flavour and tenderness. The final placings are given by the sum of all these judgements”. As previously mentioned, Oddone and his friends-partners have taken part in numerous competitions in Italy and around the world in just two years, and in October of last year they were invited to participate in the American Royal in Kansas City, an invitation only event which is the biggest barbecuing competition in the world. Even on that stage they were able to show what they can do and impress the judges. Alessandro Oddone, Luca Contri and Marco Manzani’s team will next take part in the Italian Championship in Perugia and Modena in September and in the World Championship in Ireland in October.

Наша сплоченная команда в течение двух лет принимала участие в различных чемпионатах для экспертов и завоевала оптимальные позиции. Уже в самый первый год мы были первыми на одном конкурсе и третьими-четвертыми – на другом. Я бы сказал, что это отличный старт». - А в чем суть соревнования по приготовлению барбекю? «Необходимо заметить, прежде всего, что чемпионат проводится в течение двух дней, потому что техника предполагает приготовление цельных кусков мяса вдали от огня. А это означает, что требуется около 15 часов, чтобы получить мягкий и вкусный продукт, - объясняет Оддоне. – Конкурс означает приготовление четырех блюд. Одно на основе говядины, второе из курицы, затем классическое из свиных ребрышек, и наконец, только из свинины. Туда можно попасть только по специальному приглашению. И там тоже они показали свою состоятельность, и были оценены. Команда в составе Алессандро Оддоне, Луки Конти и Марко Манзани будет участвовать во всех итальянских чемпионатах в Перудже и Модене в сентябре, а затем в октябре они отправятся на мировой чемпионат, который состоится в октябре в Ирландии.

Due mondi così diversi, racchiusi in soli 15 minuti. Non ci credete? Riaprite gli occhi e scoprirete che non state sognando. Ad Airole, meraviglioso borgo situato a una manciata di chilometri dalla città di confine, sorge un Parco Avventura adatto a tutte le età.

“Il nostro Parco Avventura è davvero spettacolare e completo – racconta a Sanremo. it il primo cittadino di Airole - Ci sono tre percorsi: uno semplice, adatto ai bimbi a partire dai cinque anni, uno medio e uno di alto livello, entrambi adatti ai più grandi ed sperti, essendo entrambi particolarmente impegnativi. Completamente immerso nel verde, consente di saltare da un albero all’altro, con altezze che arrivano fino a 15 metri. Il parco è stato dato in gestione alla locale Pro Loco, che lo sta portando avanti in maniera encomiabile e che ogni anno fa sottoporre i suoi addetti a un corso di aggiornamento per garantire la massima sicurezza a tutti i visitatori”.

Il parco avventura di Airole, nato anche dall’idea e dall’impegno dell’assessore Filippo Di Capizzi, è aperto tutti i giorni da maggio a ottobre e garantisce un percorso della durata minima di due ore a costi che variano dagli 8 ai 14 euro, a seconda dell’età dei partecipanti. E non è tutto, perché nel parco si possono anche organizzare avventurose feste di compleanno con un minimo di 10 partecipanti. Insomma cosa c’è di più divertente che trasformarsi in piccoli “Indiana Jones” e passare un pomeriggio divertente all’aria aperta facendo anche dello sport?

percorso delle Antenne a Cervo, con salti in successione e un bel ripido (l’onda), è sicuramente quello più conosciuto del Golfo Dianese Bike Park. Il suo famoso “salto nel blu“ è un trampolino di lancio sul mare ormai famoso in tutta Europa: una rampa compatta di terra e roccia che, per una frazione di secondo lunga quanto una vita intera, fa librare nell’aria abbastanza in alto da non lasciar vedere nient’altro che il blu del mare, come se non ci fosse più la terra del sentiero. Chi lo ha provato ha commentato: fa mancare il fiato per la bellezza. Single track prevalentemente guidato con alcune strutture paraboliche in legno e terra

lungo circa quattro chilometri, il percorso della Antenne si può affrontare in almeno quattro varianti. Il salto nel blu, nato dall’impegno di un gruppo di pionieri del freeride nel Golfo Dianese, è senza dubbio la discesa più panoramica della zona: affacciato sul mare, con vista del golfo di Diano Marina, di quello di Andora (fino a scorgere l’isola Gallinara) e di Finale Ligure, potrebbe essere l’emblema della Liguria poiché si sviluppa in una verticale perfetta, irraggiungibile, quasi antigravitazionale. Qui viene superato il concesso di destra e sinistra, c’è solo il sopra e sotto, in alto e in basso. Cervo è lì, quasi irreale, dipinta sul fianco del colle, mentre intorno le strade s’inerpicano

lente, mostrando, dietro ogni curva e tornante, il blu intenso e distante del mare. Il sentiero, tecnicamente completo, presenta terra, sassi, roccia, sponde e si snoda attraversa il verde dei cespugli di euforbia, erica e lentisco, e attraversa anche ruderi e pinete. La bellezza aspra e primitiva di questo luogo pare soltanto una striscia di terra, polvere e sassi, che ripiega verso sud, ma ai suoi frequentatori pare un mondo intero: un territorio perfetto, che non ha bisogno di altro. Non è un caso che, chi si ritrovi ad accompagnare gruppi nell’area, si senta chiedere di poter vedere il ‘famoso Salto nel blu’: imperdibile!

The Route of the Antennas at Cervo, with a succession of jumps, the steep one is known as the wave, is surely the best known of the Golfo Dianese Bike Park. The famous “salto nel blu” (jump into the blue) is a launching trampoline famous in all Europe: a compact ramp of earth and rock that, for a fraction of a second, a lifetime, makes the cyclers make a flip into the air quite high up to not see anything but the blue of the sea, as if there is no path below. Those who tried it have commented: the beauty is breath-taking. A single track mainly driven with some wooden and ground parabolic structures about four kilometres long, the Antennas route can be tackled in at least

four variants. The jump into the blue, born out of the commitment of a group of freeride pioneers in the Gulf of Diano, is undoubtedly the most scenic descent of the area: overlooking the sea, facing the Gulf of Diano Marina and Andora (reaching Gallinara island) and Finale Ligure, it could be the emblem of Liguria as it develops in a perfect, unattainable, almost antigravitational vertical line. Here the concept of left and right does not exist, there is only above and below. Cervo seems almost unreal, painted on the side of the hill, while the paths rise slowly all around, showing the distant deep blue of the sea behind every curve and hairpin bend. The route is techni-

cally complete and has earth, stones, rock, edges, and winds through the green of the euphorbia, heather and laurel bushes crossing ruins and pine forests too. The rough and primitive beauty of this place seems a strip of land, dust, and rocks that bends southwards, but to its visitors it seems like an entire world - a perfect territory that does not need anything else. It is no coincidence that those who come here to accompany groups to the area, are asked to take them to see the famous “jump into blue”: not to be missed!

Знаменитый трамплин “salto nel blu”, подбрасывающий ездока в направлении моря, теперь известен во всей Европе. Парение длится всего лишь секунду, но кажется очень долгим с остановкой на самой верхней точке, когда не видно абсолютно ничего, кроме синего моря. Полная иллюзия, что дальше дороги вообще больше нет. Те, кто попробовали эту трассу и прочувствовали этот прыжок, неизменно говорят: просто захватывает дух от этой красоты. Трасса только одна, ее длина около четырех километров, где перемежаются земля и деревянное покрытие, но ее можно предолеть по крайней мере четырьмя способами. “Salto nel blu” появился благодаря энтузиастам фрирайда из залива Диано Марина, и безусловно, спуск является самым живописным в этой зоне. Оттуда видно не только залив Диано, но и Андоры (вплоть до острова Галлинара), и даже Финале Лигуре. Он может стать эмблемой Лигурии, поскольку здесь идеальная вертикаль, которая кажется недостижимой и даже антигравитационной. Движение направлено направо и налево, вверх и вниз. Однако для любителей фрирайда, или свободной езды, это целый мир: идеальное место, которое ничто не заменит. И если вы окажетесь в этих местах с туристической группой, попросите гида обязательно показать вам знаменитое “salto nel blu”!

Via del Sale è un antico percorso che fin dall’antichità collegava le montagne cuneesi (dalla vecchia strada militare LimoneMonesi) al mare, sia sul versante di levante da Ventimiglia a Sanremo, sia a ponente, verso la Costa Azzurra. Su questo percorso sterrato transitavano un tempo viandanti, commercianti, pastori con i loro graggi, pellegrini e mulattieri. Grazie a questo tracciato si scambiava il sale proveniente dal mar ligure (che serviva alla conservazione delle carni, del pesce e delle olive), con i prodotti dell’agricoltura piemontese. Ristrutturata da qualche anno, l’antica Via del Sale è ora un percorso ludico-agonistico da percorrere in fuoristrada, moto da cross, quod, mountain bike, a piedi o a cavallo. La strada è a transito regolamentato a pedaggio

e accessibile solo d’estate. Lungo il tragitto ci si imbatterà nella fortificazione militare di fine ‘800 del Fort Central. Da qui, percorrendo diversi saliscendi lungo la dorsale italiana il paesaggio cambia radicalmente nel territorio francese: la folta vegetazione, infatti, scompare lasciando il posto a distese di rocce carsiche che caratterizzano il Gruppo del Marguareis. Si prosegue e, rientranti in territorio italiano, il contesto cambia ancora nel Bosco del Parco delle Navette. E’ possibile pernottare al rifugio Allavena in località Colle Melosa. Un’esperienza unica, un contesto impareggiabile. Lungo questi sentieri, lo scorso anno è andata in scena la prima edizione della Grande Traversata da Limone a Sanremo. Ed è in fase di definizione il programma della seconda edizione dall’1 al 3 settembre. Per gli amanti della mountain bike è un appuntamento da

non perdere: il 2 settembre 9 ore in sella per 95 km di sterrato con tappe enogastronomiche in rifugi e borghi tipici liguri. VIA DEL SALE: СОЛЯНАЯ ДОРОГА Соляная дорога – это старинный маршрут, который уже в древние времена соединял горы зоны Кунео (от старой военной дороги Лимоне – Монези) с морем как на востоке от Вентимильи до Сан-Ремо, так и на западе в направлении Лазурного Берега. По этой грунтовой дороге шли путники, купцы, пастухи со своими стадами, паломники и погонщики мулов. Благодаря этой дороге удавалось обменивать соль, добытую в Лигурийском море (которая служила для засолки мяса, рыбы, оливок) на сельскохозяйственные продукты из Пьемонта.

Восстановленная несколько лет назад Соляная дорога сейчас используется для мотокросса, тренировок на горных велосипедах, пеших походов, поездок на лошадях или на квадроциклах. Дорога платная и открыта только летом. По пути можно встретить оборонительную крепость “Fort Central” конца девятнадцатого века. Отсюда, преодолевая различные спуски и подъемы, легко заметить, как меняется пейзаж на французской стороне: густую растительность сменяют карстовые скалы, которые характерны для гор Gruppo del Marguareis. А дальше вновь попадаешь на итальянскую территорию, и снова ландшафт меняется на лесные заросли Parco delle Navette. При необходимости на ночлег можно остановиться в приюте «Allavena» в зоне Colle Melosa. Уникальное путешествие по удивительным местам. Именно на этих дорогах в прошлом году в первый раз состоялось соревнование на горных велосипедах «Grande Traversata da Limone a Sanremo». И уже запланировано провести гонку во второй раз с 1 по 3 сентября. Любителей mountain bike 2 сентября ожидают 95 километров грунтовых дорог с остановками для еды в горных приютах и типичных лигурийских деревушках. Для самых отважных подойдет отрезок Соляной дороги Extreme Race, где можно участвовать в качестве туристов на велосипедах или mountain bike, тандемах. The Salt Road is an ancient route that, since ancient times, connected the Cuneo mountains (from the old Limone-Monesi military road) to the sea, both on the eastern side from Ventimiglia to Sanremo, and on the west to the Côte d’Azur. Da trent’anni lo studio e la tutela dei cetacei del Mediterraneo grazie al “P rogetto Pelagos”

e al Santuario protetto tra F rancia, I talia e P rincipato di Monaco

poche miglia dalla costa appaiono delfini, balenottere, capodogli. Siamo nel cuore del Santuario Pelagos, l’area marina protetta che si estende per quasi 90mila chilometri tra Italia, Francia e Principato di Monaco. Tethys Onlus è l’istituto di ricerca che da fine anni ’80 studia e monitora i cetacei nel Santuario: “Siamo stati pionieri – racconta Sabina Airoldi, direttrice del progetto Pelagos – allora i dati sui cetacei nei mari italiani erano pari a zero”. Oggi balenottere, capodogli e delfini sono studiati e monitorati. Ogni mattina l’imbarcazione Pelagos prende il largo da Portosole, a Sanremo, con a bordo i ricercatori e una strumentazione che aiuta nel survey visivo e acustico dei mammiferi marini. Si sta di vedetta con binocolo e macchina fotografica, pronti ad avvisare al primo “soffio” di una balenottera o alla comparsa delle stenelle striate. Ogni animale viene foto-identificato,

talvolta “taggato” con localizzatori satellitari per seguirne gli spostamenti. A bordo c’è anche un idrofono, un microfono subacqueo che capta le “parole” di capodogli e delfini. Nino Pierantonio, biologo specializzato in bio-acustica, ascolta in cuffia le voci dei cetacei e ne monitora il tracciato: “Questa immensa mole di dati viene registrata e archiviata – spiega – andrà poi analizzata per studiare i comportamenti degli animali”. Pioniera nello studio dei cetacei, Tethys lo è anche nell’approccio alla ricerca. A bordo di Pelagos prendono vita da anni progetti di citizen science: in crociere di una settimana biologi, studenti e comuni cittadini partecipano attivamente alle attività di ricerca, un’opportunità che raduna ogni anno appassionati provenienti da tutta Italia e non solo. A bordo ognuno ha un compito: si osserva il mare, segnalando ogni avvistamento, si localizzano i cetacei con l’idrofono, ci si

emoziona per gli incontri “non previsti”, come quelli con le tartarughe Caretta caretta. Le minacce umane ai cetacei – l’inquinamento, anche acustico, l’inconsapevolezza e il mancato rispetto dei codici di condotta stilati per il Santuario - portano Tethys a insistere anche su un’attività di tutela e conservazione. “Gli ultimi trend hanno fatto registrare una diminuzione di tutte le otto specie presenti nel Santuario – è la constatazione di Sabina Airoldi – sono dati per i quali stiamo cercando risposte”. Intanto, la stagione di monitoraggio e studio 2017 è iniziata con il migliore degli auspici, portando Pelagos a incontrare, a fine maggio, un gruppo di ben 4 balenottere comuni a sole 13 miglia dalla costa di Sanremo. Segno che la bellezza, a volte, abita molto più vicino di quanto non ci aspetteremmo.

They stay on the lookout with binoculars and a camera, ready to spot the first “blow” of a fin whale or the appearance of striped dolphins. Each animal is photo-identified, sometimes tagged by satellite locators to follow their movements. There is also a hydrophone on board, an underwater microphone that captures the “words” of sperm whales and dolphins. Nino Pierantonio, a biologist specialised in bioacoustics, listens through headphones to the cetaceans’ voices and monitors their pattern: “This huge quantity of data is recorded and archived – he explains – it will then be analysed in order to study the animals’ behaviours”. Not just pioneers in the study of cetaceans, the work of Tethys is also pioneering in terms of the approach to research. Aboard the Pelagos, people have been taking part in citizen science projects for many years: during one-week cruises biologists, students and non-scientists

actively take part in the research activities, an opportunity that attracts enthusiasts from Italy and abroad every year. Everybody on board has a job to do: watching the sea and notifying of any sightings, locating the cetaceans with the hydrophone, or getting excited over “unexpected” sightings, like seeing Caretta caretta turtles. The threat from humans to cetaceans - pollution, including acoustic, unawareness and the failure to observe the Sanctuary’s codes of conduct - obliges Tethys to persist with protection and conservation activities as well. “Recent trends have shown a decrease in numbers for all the Sanctuary’s eight species – observes Sabina Airoldi – data we are trying to find an explanation for”. Meanwhile, the 2017 studying and monitoring season has had a successful start, at the end on May Pelagos came across a group of 4 fin whales, just 13 miles off the Sanremo coast. A sign that, sometimes, beauty is much closer than we think.

Нино Пьерантонио, специалист по биоакустике, слушает с помощью наушников «слова» китообразных и мониторирует их. «Это огромное количество голосов животных регистрируется и сохраняется, - объясняет он, а затем они будут тщательно проанализированы, чтобы понять поведение животных». Пионер в сфере изучения китообразных, институт Tethys является пионером и в подходе к исследованиям. На борту «Pelagos» уже несколько лет проводятся также мероприятия для обычных людей: в течение недельного плавания биологи, студенты и обычные граждане активно участвуют в исследованиях. Угроза китообразным со стороны людей – загрязнение окружающей среды, шум, неосведомленность и несоблюдение правил поведения, принятых в Святилище, приводят к тому, что Tethys берет на себя функции их защиты и сохранения. “Последние данные свидетельствуют об уменьшении численности всех восьми видов, присутствующих здесь, - говорит Сабина Айролди, это те вопросы, на которые мы должны найти ответ». Однако при этом сезон мониторинга и исследований 2017 года начался с хороших предзнаменований, когда «Pelagos» в конце мая наткнулась на группу из четырех финвалов всего лишь в 13 милях от берегов Сан-Ремо. Thirty years of study and protection of cetaceans in the Mediterranean Sea with the “Pelagos Project” and the protected Sanctuary between France, Italy and the Principality of Monaco. Dolphins, fin whales and sperm whales can be seen just a few miles off the coast. We are in the heart of the Pelagos Sanctuary, a marine protected area that stretches for about 90,000 km2 between Italy, France, and the Principality of Monaco. Tethys Onlus is the research institute that since the late 80s has been studying and monitoring the cetaceans in the Sanctuary: “We have been pioneers – Sabina Airoldi, director of the Pelagos project, tells us – back then data on cetaceans in the seas around Italy was practically non-existent”. Uno dei 125 Sic liguri (Siti di interesse comunitario, 26 dei quali marini) è rappresentato dal comprensorio intorno a Capo Mortola di Ventimiglia. Qui la biodiversità è particolarmente elevata grazie alla presenza di zone rocciose intervallate da fondali sabbiosi. Gli abissi di Capo Mortola sono caratterizzati da tre subsiti di prateria di posidonia oceanica, specie di alga protetta dalle normative europee per la sua altissima

capacità di generare ossigeno nell’acqua e favorire appunto la biodiversità delle specie.

Questa prateria, insediata su matte (formazione costituita dall’intreccio di rizomi morti e le radici in cui resta intrappolato il sedimento) si estende anche oltre il confine francese ed è popolata da sciafili (animali e vegetali che proliferano in zone buie) in buono stato di conservazione.

Sui fondali di Capo Mortola sono tra l’altro presenti il bivalve Pinna nobilis e numerose specie di invertebrati, oltre a cavallucci marini, diverse qualità di tordi e pesci ago. Di particolare importanza, per la sua ricchezza e varietà, il giacimento fossilifero presente nella zona di spiaggia, diversi tipi di molluschi, oltre che ricci di mare e

vermi calcarei Policheti. Inoltre numerose sono anche le tracce fossili che forniscono informazioni sull’attività dell’organismo che le ha generate.

Ente gestore del sito è l’Università di Genova mediante il proprio “Centro di servizio di ateneo per i Giardini Botanici Hanbury”. Il SIC Capo Mortola, che appartiene alla regione biogeografica mediterranea, ricade interamente nel comune di Ventimiglia, tra il versante ovest di Capo Mortola e parte del bacino idrografico del rio Sorba, per un’estensione di circa 50 ha, la cui quota più elevata (260 m) si registra all’apice nord presso la località Mortola Superiore, mentre quella minima corrisponde allo zero del punto di sbocco in mare del già citato Rio Sorba.

The seabed of Capo Mortola Thanks to its favourable geographic position, Liguria, and especially the extreme west, preserves in its small territory highly differentiated natural environments, so as to include all three biogeographical areas in Italy: alpine, continental and Mediterranean. One of the 125 Ligurian SCIs (Sites of Community Importance, 26 of which are marine), is the area around Capo Mortola of Ventimiglia. Here biodiversity is particularly high thanks to the presence of rocky areas interspersed with sandy seabed. Capo Mortola’s abyss are characterized by three prairie sub-sites of Posidonia oceanica, a seaweed species protected by European regulations for its very high ability to generate oxygen in the water and favour the

species biodiversity. This prairie, naturalized on a “matte” (formation composed of the intertwining of dead rhizomes and roots in which the sediment is trapped), extends also beyond the French border and is populated by sciaphilous (animals and plants that grow in dark areas) in a good conservation status. On the seabed of Capo Mortola, there are also the Pinna nobilis bivalve and several species of invertebrates, in addition to seahorses and different qualities of thrushes and needlefishes. Particularly important, for its richness and variety, is the fossil deposit in the beach area, several types of shellfishes, as well as sea urchins and Polychaetes calcareous worms.

There are also numerous fossil traces providing information on the activity of the organism that generated them. The managing body of the site is the University of Genoa, through its own “University Service Centre for Hanbury Botanical Gardens”. The SCI Capo Mortola, belonging to the Mediterranean biogeographical region, falls entirely in the municipality of Ventimiglia, between the western side of Capo Mortola and part of the drainage basin of Sorba river, for an extension of about 50ha, whose highest altitude (260m) is located on the northern peak at the town of Mortola Superiore, while the lowest corresponds to the zero of the outlet into the sea of the already mentioned Rio Sorba.

Un vero e proprio “mosaico” di paesaggi, tra pareti rocciose, distese pianeggianti e folti boschi in cui vivono in assoluta libertà bisonti europei, cervi, camosci e cinghiali. Certamente, tra le specie più curiose che abitano la zona ci sono senza dubbio i cavallini di Przewalski. Alti solo 120 centimetri al garrese, sono la razza equina più antica, già rappresentata 30mila anni fa in alcuni disegni rupestri. Ma non lasciatevi ingannare dall’aspetto di questa graziosa razza: i cavalli di Przewalski

Tout cela pourrait ne pas rester qu’un rêve, grâce à l’idée de quatre jeunes copains de Sanremo, unis dans une grande passion pour les motos. Davide Grosso et trois de ses amis, ont décidé il y à trois ans d’essayer de faire naitre, en partant de rien, un vélo électrique avec l’aspect d’une moto custom. ‘’À sa première sortie sur la piste cyclable – raconte Grosso à Sanremo. it – notre vélo a eu un grand succès. C’est à ce moment là que nous avons commencé à penser sérieusement de pouvoir en construire d’autres et les commercialiser’’. C’est ainsi que les quatre jeunes de Sanremo ont créé la société Forza G Srl. Et jusqu’à présent ont créé 9 vélos électriques exclusifs et de grande valeur, car ce sont des pièces uniques. Le grand bond qualitatif est arrivé presque aussitôt, en 2014, quand leur e-bike a été en exposition au Top Marques de Montecarlo, le salon du luxe et des moteurs. Le prince Albert lui même s’est félicité avec eux. Un succès et une appréciation aux quels les jeunes ne s’attendaient pas. ‘’Notre secret consiste dans l’union du design italien avec la technologie, on crée ainsi un produit unique, entièrement fait à la main et avec un grand soin pour les détails – continu Grosso – cette formule a été appréciée même par Sisal qui, pendant le championnat du monde de football, nous a demandé deux vélos à utiliser pour la distribution de leurs imprimés dans la campagne de promotion qui comportait des écran géants sur les ‘navigli’.’’ La route des 4 jeunes ‘’inventeurs’’ est encore toute à dessiner, mais une évolution d’envergure internationale est prévue d’ici peu , vu qu’un accord avec une holding est à l’étude, pour la commercialisation des e-bike world-wide. Grâce à ce projet, l’entreprise a reçu de Confartigianato, en 2015, le prix ‘’Giovane Imprenditore ligure’’. Pour Davide Grosso es ses inséparables partenaires/amis, les portes d’un marché vraiment important pourraient s’ouvrir aussitôt, pour contribuer avec une excellence italienne, au développement d’une mobilité plus durable sans pour cela renoncer au beau et au luxe.

Cordes, coques, scaphandriers, voiles et vent en poupe. Au nouveau Musée Naval de imperia on dirait vraiment de pouvoir sentir cette odeur de mer et de légende, fait de longues navigations, technique et hommes courageux. À la mer, et à toutes ses nuances, et dédiée la structure muséale qui, après avoir quitté le siège historique de Piazza del Duomo, a trouvé sa collocation idéale dans les salles rénovées de via Scarincio, adossées au bassins portuaire de Porto Maurizio, à confirmer le lien avec l’élément marin. Néanmoins, Imperia elle même vante une profonde et ancienne tradition marine, comme le témoigne la statue dédiée à Capohornier, située sur le quai Medaglie d’Oro. Grands navigateurs, bateaux à voile, mythologie de la marine. Le voyage à l’intérieur du Musée Naval commence du fond de la mer, avec un trésor précieux coulé en époque romaine. Il s’agit des ‘’dolia’’, des énormes récipients anciens pour le vin, en terre cuite, qui, transporté par le navire Felix Pacata, coulé au large de la côte du Ponant Ligure, ont été récupérés par l’équipe de Nino Lamboglia, initiateur de l’archéologie sous marine. Des activités sous marines raconte aussi le diorama qui reproduit un scaphandrier en équipement de travail, un plongeur et une spéciale tourelle butoscopique pour les grandes profondeurs. En montant au premier étage, on trouve les histoires des navires de recouvrement Rostro et Artiglio, entre les combinaisons de plongée qui témoignent de l’évolution de la technique, préparation didactiques qui montres la descente dans l’eau et des vidéos dédiés aux explorations sous marines. La particularité de cette partie du Musée (une deuxième est en préparation et sera spécifiquement historique et de collection) c’est l’interactivité et la didactiques, entre modèles réduits, panneaux illustrés et vidéos sympathiques où les personnages de la marinerie accompagnent la visite. Il est ainsi possible de monter à bord de grands transatlantiques, comme le Sestiere, guetter à travers le périscope du Scirè, coulé dans la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, piloter un bateaux hors de l’Étroit de Gibraltar en manœuvrant un vraie gouvernail, ou s’exercer avec les communications maritimes et l’alphabet international. La collection d’uniformes originales des années 40 est suggestive, tout comme le téléimprimeur du Stockholm qui, en 1956 a coulé à pic l’Andrea Doria. Sur le Sestriere reconstruit, entre un hublot et une boussole, a été installé un poste radio opérationnel qui évoque le travail des opérateurs de bord. Au milieu du premier étage est situé la maquette d’un bateau à voile, animé par une hélice qui engendre du vent et en simule la navigation. Pour illustrer les points cardinaux et l’engendrement de l’intensité des courants, voilà la Rose des Vents et une Machine à Faire Du Vent. Elle ne pouvait pas manquer, dans la ville qui les célèbres depuis 30 ans, la salle dédié aux Voiles d’Époque de Imperia. La mer exprime enfin toute sa merveilleuse beauté dans la salle dédiée au Sanctuaire Pelagos, où prennent vie, grâce aux vidéos et aux photos, les formes sinueuses et magnifiques des baleines et des dauphins. Si vous êtes prêt à prendre le large pour un voyage fabuleux à la découverte des histoires de la mer, de ses gents et ses trésors, le Musée Naval de Imperia est ouvert tous les mardi de 9h30 à 11h30 du 1er juin au 30 septembre, les jeudi, vendredi et samedi de 17h30 à 21h30. Le musée est fermé le dimanche et le lundi.

LA ‘’PIGNA’’ Un portail qui sépare le présents du passé. Quelques pas qui séparent le monde chaotique de nos jours de celui magique et mysterieux du Moyen-Age. C’est la sensation merveilleuse qui envahi ce lui qui, comme nous de Sanremo.it, s’est fait accompagner dans la Pigna, le centre historique de Sanremo, entre murs, portes et ‘’valium’’. Notre guide d’exception est Giacomo Mannisi, employé de la Mairie de Sanremo avec une passion pour l’histoire autochtone. Et c’est bien Mannini, accompagné dans ce tour par Anna Blangetti, qui commence à raconter l’histoire des premières constructions de Sanremo, en partant par Porta Santo Stefano, l’un des onze accès fortifiés de la ville. ‘’Les porte de la Pigna sont contiguës et marquent les entrées aux trois enceintes de murs nées pour défendre une ville qui c’est agrandie au fil des ans – nous explique Mannisi – et qui avait le besoin de se defendre des incursions hostiles qui arrivaient principalement de la mer.’’. Au fur et à mesure qu’on monte et on s’engage dans la vieille ville, entre ruelles étroites et escaliers, la Pigna – rebaptisée ainsi pour sa forme caractéristique rendue par les maisons qui la composent - montre aux yeux des visiteurs un spectacle très suggestif. Juste à quelques pas de la première porte s’ouvre la Piazza dei Dolori, avec son oratoire bâti en 1508 et surmonté des blasons de la ville, et le palais du Préteur. Un peu plus loin, la Rue Luca Spinola avec le palais historique homonyme qui a hébergé le podestat de Gênes, le palais de la famille des Fornari et Palazzo Manara qui en 1538 a hébergé le Pape Paolo III de retour d’Avignon. En montant encore et traversant les autres Portes, avec leurs volets nés pour pouvoir regarder ceux qui approchaient, on passe par la petite, mais riche d’histoire, Chapelle Bottini et, à travers la Porte San Giuseppe, qui date de 1560, avec ses portails originaux, on arrive à l’église homonyme, née en 1571. Le voyage dans l’histoire de la Pigna mène les visiteurs à la découverte de la petite Piazza Capitolo, avec le mystère lié à ses origines et à son nom, et encore, à la belle place Santa Brigida. Parmi les endroits les plus suggestif et qui méritent un arrêt il y a la ‘’Fontanassa’’, une source d’où l’eau jailli dans la cave d’une maison privée, dont les propriétaires donnent l’autorisation d’entrer à notre guide. Un final charmant avant de replonger dans la frénésie du monde moderne.

LA PINEDE DU CAP ET MARABUTTO

FÊTE DE LA LAVANDE

L’histoire passe par Vintimille et c’est grâce au ‘’SiMuVe – Système Musées Vintimille’’ que l’on peut découvrir les passages de l’homme paléolithique, des Romains et des anglais de l’Époque Victorienne. Le Musée Préhistorique des Balzi Rossi, à quelques centaines de mètres de la frontière française, a été fondé en 1898 par sir Thomas Hambury, suite à la découverte d’artefacts de l’homme paléolithique, qui habitait dans la zone il y a 230mille et 10mille ans. Mais le Musée des Balzi Rossi n’est pas le seul hommage au territoire rendu par le baronnet britannique. Ses jardins botaniques, fondés en 1867, sont parmi les jardins historiques ‘’anglais’’ les plus importants, avec de nombreuses espèces de plantes qui ont trouvé dans le Cap Mortola leur habitat naturel, du jardins des parfums à la forêt australienne, des mimosas aux agrumes, aux roses. En continuant vers le Levant nous rencontrons le Fort de l’Annunziata. Fait construire par le Gouvernement Savoyard entre 1831 et 1837 pour fortifier ses frontières occidentales, offre aux visiteurs une vue époustouflante à pic sur la mer et c’est aujourd’hui le siège du Musée Archéologique ‘’Girolamo Rossi’’ (MAR) outre à abriter un riche éventail de manifestations et évènements. Le MAR conserve les pièces de la ville romaine Albintimilium et de collections datant du XIX siècle. Pas loin du Fort se trouve le centre historique de Vintimille, un des plus grands de la Ligurie, qui conserve à l’intérieur de ses murs médiévaux, avec des rénovations du XVI siècle, des importants monuments publics, religieux et privés, qui témoignent de la vie de la ville du haut moyen âge au XIX siècle. Dans la banlieue orientale de la ville on peut admirer les ruines de l’ancienne ville de Albintimilium, fondée par les romains au cours du II siècle a.JC. L’aire archéologique conserve des parties des murs anciens, des portes, des rues et de quelque monument public (théâtre et termes) et privés (domus signorili et quelques insulae résidentielles)

La Pinède du Cap de Bordighera Alta est un charmant poumon vert adossé au Palazzo Garnier, siège de la mairie de Bordighera et caractérisée par des vues suggestives de la mer. Depuis quelques années elle est au centre d’un projet de valorisation ambitieux qui est finalement en train de redécoller, après les premières interventions dont deux autres beautés naturelles de Bordighera ont été l’objet. L’aire serpente entre les pins maritimes séculaires de la garrigues et c’est l’une de zones de Bordighera plus fréquentées le soir par les jeunes et, surtout, dans la journée par le familles avec enfants. Dans la même aire se trouve aussi la poudrière (le marabutto ou marabuttu), construction militaire d’extraction arabe avec un des canons caractéristiques qui visaient vers la mer, mais qui n’ont pas suffit à empêcher le débarquement des anglais au début du XIX siècle. Le marabutto a été ramené récemment à son ancienne splendeur (2015) et un nouveau coquillage a été appliqué sur une des fenêtres, destination préféré par adultes et enfants pour écouter les sons de la mer. Au cours des derniers mois, le coquillage a subi deux fois l’attention des voleurs ou, plus probablement, de vandales. ‘’Chaque fois qu’il sera enlevé nous le remplacerons. Pour l’éternité – a déclaré le maire de Bordighera Giacomo Pallanca – Ne pas le faire ça serait donner pour gagnants ceux qui endommagent volontairement la collectivité. Il arrivera un jour où quelqu’un sera pris en flagrant et il payera pour tout le monde’’. Les canons – dont un seulement a été récupéré – étaient placés à protéger la côte à partir de 1783 (deux batteries : outre à celle du Cap, un’autre à la Ruota, en région Bagnabraghe). Les trois pièces adossés à la Pinède du Cap, disposées autour de la poudrière du Marabutto, étaient appelées, ironiquement, Butafoeugu, Tiralongni et Cagastrasse. Après qu’un navire anglais avait été bombardé par ces canons, un peu plus d’un an plus tard (19 juillet 1812) deux frégates et un vaisseaux anglais ont débarqué prés de 200 hommes qui, pour donner preuve de leur force ont marché sur le cap et ils ont même enlevé les canons.

Juillet est le mois de la lavande, sans doute le mois durant le quel cette plante, polyvalente et aux milliers d’utilisations, devient la protagoniste absolue d’une portion du territoire, dans l’arrière-pays, traversant une grande partie du Ponant Ligure. Des fêtes sont au programme jusqu’à la première semaine du mois d’août : samedi 8 et dimanche 9 juillet à Dolceacqua ; Dimanche 16 juillet à Cosio d’Arroscia ; samedi 22 et dimanche 23 juillet à Ormea ; samedi 29 juillet à Pietrabruna ; dimanche 30 juillet à Airole ; dimanche 6 août à Pigna. L’intérêt au sujet de la lavande, sa connaissance, sa versatilité qui plonge les racines dans les siècles est très fort. Par exemple, au mois de juin a été lancé en voie expérimentale la création d’une série de ‘’Ipoint’’: les premiers réservoirs culturels, dont le ‘’start pilote’’ est à Seborga, pour faire connaître et valoriser en clé touristique toutes les excellences gastronomiques et culturelles du Territoire dont la lavande fait partie. Les ‘’Ipoint’’ souhaitent être un voyage dans la tradition, le territoire, l’histoire, la connaissance collective et l’éducation alimentaire, mais aussi guichets d’information, points de service et commercialisation. ‘’La naissance de ces points est importante – on lit sur lavandarivieradeifiori. it – car on ne doit pas oublier que la Ligurie et la Alta Val Tanaro sont des zones consacrées au Tourisme et le Tourisme est leur industrie primaire. Beaucoup seront les formules adoptées : de celles complètes (point infos et shop) aux hybrides (corner + infos) ou seulement shop. Un IPoint complet sera celui de Seborga où, en collaboration avec la Municipalité, les Associations et les opérateurs naîtra un point d’informations touristiques, réservations d’hôtel, magasin pour les produits de la Lavande et du Territoire’’. Les prochains Ipoint à ouvrir seront ceux de Borgomaro avec la collaboration d’une entreprise adhérente à l’association de producteurs de Lavande Riviera dei Fiori ; celui de Garlenda en collaboration avec la Pro Loco aura une espace corner des produits Lavanda della Riviera dei Fiori ; celui de Caprauna chez le Rifugio Pian dell’Arma où à l’accueil et info touristique déjà existant s’ajoutera le corner du projet Lavanda ; à Ormea sera réalisé un ‘’Point’’.

PROJET ANTEA FLEURS EDIBLES

ÉTÉ 2017, VOILÀ OÙ S’AMUSER

Les serres et les terrains de Sanremo, dans le futur pourraient se remplir de superbes fleurs colorés et parfumés qui, une fois cueillis, pourront finir sur nos tables pour intégrer et enrichir des plats gourmands et originaux. Avec le projet Antea du nouveau Crea, le Conseil pour la Recherche de l’Agriculture et pour l’économie agraire, avec siège à Sanremo, il sera possible de cultiver les ‘’fleurs edibles’’, synonyme pour fleurs comestibles. Certaines espèces de ces fleurs se consomment déjà couramment, il suffit de penser au fleurs de courgettes, délicieuses, ou aux artichauts et leurs mille recettes. À ceux là on pourra ajouter œillets,bégonias, roses et beaucoup d’autres. Le projet est né à Sanremo, mais il a été aussi enrichi par l’intervention de chercheurs français et il a gagné le premier prix d’un concours international dédié. Maintenant, en vertu de cette importante attribution ,il pourra s’avérer. La directrice du nouveau Crea, Barbara Ruffoni, est mère et mentor du projet : ‘’C’est un rêve qui se réalise- explique-t-elle à Sanremo.it – pouvoir partir de la ville des fleurs avec ce projet innovant a une signification profonde. Il faut savoir qu’il existe plus de 70 espèces de fleurs comestibles qui pourront être cultivées, après une bonification et reconversion du terrain. Notre projet verra aussi impliqués des grands cuisiniers, ils pourront porter, sur les tables des restaurants les plus célèbres, des plats à base de fleurs edibles et il pourront apprendre aux amateurs de la cuisine la préparation de recettes gourmandes à base d’œillets ou bégonias ou d’autres espèces. Et le tout à kilomètres 0 !

Un été dans l’esprit de l’amusement dans tout le Ponant Ligure. La musique est la grande protagoniste de Bordighera, avec de nombreux concerts dans l’église Anglicana et dans le kiosque à musique. Une nuit magique sur la mer, vendredi 14 juillet avec ‘’Il nostro mare si popola di lumini...’’, illumination traditionnelle de la mer devant la plage de La Capannina, avec musique et plats typiques. Lundi 24, mardi 25 et mercredi 26 juillet sur le Lungomare Argentina, dès 18h30, la IV édition de ‘’Bordighera Un Mare di Sapori’’, pour goûter ce que de mieux offre la cuisine de Bordighera. Marquez sur le calendrier mardi 8 août pour la V édition de Bordighera Music Parade, grande fête estivale avec corso de chars musicaux sur la promenade. Pour corollaire, la désormais célèbre ‘’Berlecata’’ à Sasso le vendredi 11 août, pour une soirée de tradition gastronomique, musique et divertissement. En collaboration avec la Food Around à la recherche pour le goût, pour la quatrième année consécutive, Vallecrosia reconfirme la maison d’été de la bière dans l’Ouest Ligurie. L’édition estivale, sur la promenade de Vallecrosia, propose la dégustation de produits de certaines parmi les meilleurs brasseries artisanales de l’Italie, avec une attention particulière pour celles ligures et piémontaises. La fête, qui commencera à 19 heures, jusqu’à tard dans la nuit, avec des groupes de musique et spectacles, qui culminera à 23 heures avec un spectacle de feux d’artifice et musique. Dans les chaudes nuits d’été, Sanremo s’anime surtout dans la zone du port, entre le Fort de Santa Tecla et Pian di Nave : le 30 juillet avec ‘’Il Tenco Ascolta’’, ensuite, dans le charme du centre historique de la Pigna, du 2 au 5 aout ‘’Rock in the casbah’’. La 14 aout le concert de Ferragosto et le traditionnel feux d’artifice, du 16 au 19 août le rendez-vous avec UnoJazz Festival International de Musique Jazz à Sanremo. Un autre rendez-vous à ne pas rater le 2 septembre avec le Concert ‘’Oltre le Luci’’ en collaboration avec l’Orchestre Symphonique de Sanremo. Le MOAC, Mostra mercato dell’artigianato revient depuis

cette année dans le centre ville, au Palafiori, du 19 au 27 août. Sanremo est aussi synonyme de sport : du 6 au 9 juillet il y a l’Europe Cup 2017 au Circolo Tennis Sanremo, du 29 au 30 juillet la ‘’24orissima Sanremo beach volley’’ et l’extraordinaire ‘’La Via del Sale’’, de Limone à Sanremo du 1er au 3 septembre. Pendant tout l’été il y aura aussi plein de petit marchés, dans les places du centre ville et sur la promenade Impératrice. À Vintimille de juin à septembre, dans les ambiances les plus suggestives comme la plage des Balzi Rossi, le Fort de l’Annunziata et le Théâtre Romain, en scène des grandes artistes tels que Michele Placido, Alessandro Haber, Pippo Del Bono et Laura Marinoni. Un des événements parmi les plus attendus est sûrement le ‘’Agosto Medievale’’, du 3 au 5 août, une fête que, pendant 3 jours, ramène en arrière de 700 ans l’ancien bourg de la ville avec évocations historiques, saveurs traditionnelles et spectacles à thème, le tout rigoureusement en habits d’époque. Une fois les vêtements historiques enlevés, le 6 août on fête du ‘’Tramonto all’Alba’’, un événement inspiré par le film de Quentin Tarantino avec musique et spectacles dans les ruelles de Ventimiglia Alta. ERMAL META ET EMANUELE DABBONO : C’EST LE MOMENT DE IMPERIA UNPLUGGED FESTIVAL ! Le mardi 8 août revient l’événement musical de l’été à place San Giovanni, avec artistes célèbres et une scène ouverte aux jeunes promesses.

La date à noter est mardi 8 août. L’endroit, place San Giovanni à Oneglia. C’est en effet dans le théâtre naturel du parvis de l’église qui commencera la troisième édition de Imperia Unplugged Festival, la revue musicale gratuite que cette année portera dans le chef-lieu des artistes comme Ermal Meta et Emanuele Dabbono. Outre à beaucoup d’autres surprises, comme raconte Nico Zanchi, président de l’Association Imperia Musicale qui organise le Festival depuis 2015 : ‘’Le festival s’annonce comme un événement, et c’est justement ce que nous voulons, dans l’intention de raviver la ville : nous nous attendons à une grande fête.’’ Pas seulement de musique pour la ville, mais aussi laboratoire : cette année revient aussi Palco Aperto, qui convoitera beaucoup de jeunes artistes l’après midi de mardi 8 août. Un préambule au Festival du soir, pensé pour donner aux jeunes l’occasion de s’exhiber en live. Si l’épreuve officielle de Palco Aperto en 2015 avait était organisée ‘’on the road’’, en recrutant des artistes dans les rues, le format en 2016 a pu compter une vingtaines d’inscriptions. ‘’Nous espérons que cette année les inscriptions augmentent encore – dit-il Zanchi – car les artistes de la soiré seront la pour écouter et connaître les jeunes. L’année dernière Zibba a suivi et regardé toutes les exhibitions et a ainsi connu les Seawords dont va bientôt produire un EP. Notre but et celui-ci : donner l’occasion d’être écoutés à ceux que d’habitude ne jouent que chez eux. Nous avons déjà demandé à la Mescal, label de Ermal Meta, la disponibilité pour que, cette année aussi, les artistes restent à écouter le Palco Aperto.’’ Un autre format proposé par Imperia Musicale et actif depuis le mois de janvier fait d’ouverture idéale pour l’événement estival. IM Songwriter’s Night est le nom d’une série de rendez-vous, réalisées en collaboration avec le Bar11 qui, au cours des mois, a rassemblé chanteurs et groupes : ‘’Les résultats sont positifs – nous confirme Zanchi – les soirées ne sont pas faciles : il s’agit d’artistes qui pro-

posent des morceaux écrits par eux mêmes et non pas de cover, néanmoins le public apprécie.’’ Un autre rendez-vous préparatoire au Imperia Umplugged Festival est celui du 29 juillet à l’amphithéâtre de la Rabina, un concert acoustique dédié à Sergio Salvagno, victime d’un accident dramatique en 2014, à qui seront destinés les fonds levés pendant la soirée. Outre à Ermal Meta, troisième au Festival de Sanremo 2017 et Prix de la Critique Mia Martini, avec l’album Vietato Morire, et à Emanuele Dabbono, auteur de ‘’Il conforto’’, le duo de Tiziano Ferro et Carmen Consoli, le cast de Imperia Unplugged festival comprendra aussi Edoardo Chiesa, finaliste des targhe Tenco 2015. ‘’Nous sommes sur la bonne route – conclu Zanchi – Beaucoup d’association de la ville sont impliquées, nous sommes heureux d’avoir un rôle actif dans la vie de la ville. Place San Giovanni peut devenir une splendide aire à concerts : la soirée de l’8 août se déroulera en acoustique, c’est à dire une heure et demie de musique live dans une place qui deviendra chaude, magique’’. Imperia Umplugged Festival est organisé en collaboration avec Civ Oneglia et le ‘’Assessorato alle Manifestazioni del Comune di Imperia’’, avec le concours de beaucoup de sponsor qui s’ajoutent aux dons recueillis par Imperia Musicale dans les événements et manifestations organisés au cours de l’année. Sous le signe de la tradition et de la qualité : virtuosité, particularité d’interprétation et excellence, la grande musique reviendra sous les étoiles dans le charmant décor du parvis de la place des Corallini, une scène magique, convoitée et foulée par les plus grands musiciens de notre époque. Dix huit rendez-vous composent une affiche de genres différents : des concerts de la veine classique de chambre aux exécutions cross over dédiées aux divers genres. La nouveauté de cette édition est un concert en avant-première dans l’Église de San Giovanni le soir du 12 juillet, en collaboration avec l’Association Rapallo Musique et Lion’s Club Imperia Host, avec l’organiste autrichien Johannes Strobl. Dès le 14 juillet place aux grands noms : outre à Ughi, accompagné au piano par Andrea Bacchetti, s’exhiberont le pianiste célèbre Pietro de Maria et des jeunes talents émergents, déjà connus à niveaux international, parmi les quels Ronaldo Rolim, le violoniste Noe Inui, les pianistes Honggi Kim et Junhee Kim. La violoniste Patricia Kopatchinskaja sera protagoniste du concert du 29 juillet, dédié à Sandor Vegh, fondateur historique du Festival dont recourt le vingtième anniversaire de la mort. À suivre les interprètes éclectiques du jazz et de musique populaire avec le trio de Carlo Aonzo et son andolin Journey, le Devil Quartet de Paolo Fresu et le New Musette Quartet de Richard Galliano, avec des incursions dans la musique classique de Vivaldi et Bach et des hommages au Tango Argentino et aux bandes originales de Nino Rota. D’autres formations intéressantes et ensemble, seront protagonistes du Festival comme l’octet de cuivres du Théâtre Carlo Felice, quartet Schumann ; le Signum Saxophone Quartet, avec un répertoire qui varie du Classicisme au Novecento de Piazzolla et l’Ensamble Dodecacellos, enrichi par la voie du soprano Linda Campanella. À l’occasion des concerts du 21 et 22 juillet, auront lieu deux Masterclass (avec des cours et un concert final des élèves le 23 juillet à 21 heures dans l’Oratorio de Santa Caterina) tenues par Pietro de Maria et Rolando Rolim, fruit de la collaboration avec la fondation Geza Anda de Zurich. La collaboration avec l’École de Musique de Fiesole et l’accord avec la Fondation Théâtre Carlo Felice de Gênes sont confirmées. Le concert du 26 juillet avec l’octet de cuivres du théâtre de Gênes fera de scellage à cette nouvelle intente.

LES PIPES DE LA VALLÉE ARGENTINA

LE PAIN DE TRIORA

Dans la Vallée Argentina, dans l’arrière-pays de Taggia, quelqu’un est tombé amoureux du son de l’harpe celtique et a décidé d’en devenir producteur. Grâce à la collaboration de la Mairie de Montalto Ligure qui a mis à disposition l’emplacement, Andrea Novella a ouvert le laboratoire Bardic Strings, spécialisé dans la réalisation de harpes et instruments artisanales comme les whistle irlandais et flûtes traversières. Tout est né de la passion personnelle de Novella à l’égard de la culture celtique, avec ses mythes et légendes, qui l’a approché de la harpe gaélique, l’instrument traditionnel du folklore en Écosse et Irlande. En suivant ses origines, Novella a déménagé dans le bourg de la Vallée Argentina et a décidé d’ouvrir une entreprise artisanale. Ici il réalise soit les modèles créés par lui même que les instruments conçus ad hoc pour satisfaire les exigences du client. Il existent plusieurs sortes de clàirseach, nom en gaélique irlandais de la harpe celtique. La ‘’linea aire’’ propose des instruments caractérisés par un son très ample et chaud, qui rappelle les anciennes harpes à cordes en bronze, parfaites pour jouer un répertoire irlandais, gallois et breton. Pourvus d’une tension assez haute pour une harpe celtique, similaire à celle d’une harpe classique, sont donc convenables à la préparation d’une technique classique. Andrea Novella réalise aussi harpes de ‘’linea fiery’’, idéales pour jouer des jig rapides et en général des morceaux allègres. La ‘’linea fild’’, enfin, suit la tradition (aussi dans sa réalisation) des anciennes clàirseach avec une dimension compacte qui en facilite le transport. Même si de dimensions réduites, les modèles de cette série se distinguent pour leur son haut et fort, comparable à celui des harpes plus grandes. Ceux qui ont essayé les harpes celtiques Bardic Strings y trouvent une harmonisation insolite entre les cordes aiguës et les basses, une qualité rare mais fondamentale au moment où on décide d’amplifier l’instrument. Les portes de l’atelier de Andrea Novella sont toujours ouvertes non seulement pour les musiciens, mais aussi pour tous ceux qui aimeraient essayer des ambiances celtiques à Montalto Ligure.

Tout le monde ne sait peut-être pas qu’une pipe, précisément celle en bruyère, nait du bois de l’Erica arborea, une plante typique de la garrigue, commune dans le Ponant Ligure et en Côte d’Azur. La transformation du bois en produit fini est un processus long, qui dure plus de deux ans et qui n’est connu que par les mains expertes d’artisans spécialisés. Des mains comme celle de Domenico Giordano qui dans les années 60 a quitté la Calabre, terre riche de bruyère, pour exploiter son art savant en Ligurie. Ici, à Badalaucco, dans la Vallée Argentina, il a créé, en 1967, l’usine homonyme ‘’Giordano Pipe’’. Dés lors Domenico Giordano respecte une stricte procédure de préparation. Il choisi personnellement les racines de bruyère à travailler, qui doivent être âgée de 25 ans minimum pour obtenir des morceaux de bois de dimensions considérables. La bruyère prise de la bûche, après la récolte est nettoyée de tout contaminant (terre, lichen) et conservée dans des entrepôts enterrés, à l’abri du soleil et du vent, et tenue constamment humidifiée. On passe après à la découpe, à ‘’l’ébauchage’’ en planches et aux ébauches coupées en suivant la trame de la bruyère et ses veines typiques. C’est à ce moment là que l’expérience du maitre se dévoile. Il est en mesure d’obtenir de chaque planche le plus grand nombre de pièces de bonne qualité, en valorisant toujours au mieux les veines naturelles. Les ébauches sont bouillies pendant 24 heures dans des énormes chaudrons en cuivre avec le but d’éliminer les résines et les tanins du terrain pour éviter toute saveur amère résiduelle et sécher la sève, tout en empêchant au bois de casser. La quatrième phase du processus consiste dans le séchage qui se fait d’abord sur des claies et, par la suite, dans des sacs de juta où ils restent pendent deux ans environ. À ce moment là les ébauches seront prêtes pour être aillées en créant ainsi les précieuses pipes de Giordano.

‘’Aucun pain ne se marie avec la tomate aussi bien que celui de Triora. Ils sont fait l’un pour l’autre. Dés l’origine du monde, ils ont été créé pour s’unir.’’ C’est ainsi que l’écrivain Rossella Pastorino célèbre le pain de Triora dans son livre ‘’Il mare in salita’’. Le pain si romantiquement décrit nait à Triora, un bourg de la Vallée Argentina, célèbre pour être la patrie des sorcière par antonomase. Le nom du pays à origine de ‘’tria ora’’, trois bouches, celles de Cerberus, que dans la tradition représentent les trois produits sur les quelles était basé autrefois l’économie autochtone : froment, châtaignes et vignobles Après la Seconde Guerre Mondiale, inspirés par des recettes anciennes qui ont été transmises verbalement, Angiolino Asplanato, boulanger de Triora, a décidé d’en recommencer la production. Le pétrissage et les ingrédients garantissaient une très longue conservation, une caractéristique importante pour une économie qui commençait à redécoller, mais avec encore très peu de ressources. Les matières premières étaient celles du territoire: l’eau des sources alpines et le froment dont la Vallée Argentina était riche à cette époque. La forme était, comme elle l’est aujourd’hui, celle du pain de montagne : des pain de 500 grammes ou d’un kilo, qu’on reconnaît de la forme ronde et large, l’intérieur doré, l’extérieur craquant et couvert du son sur le quel est posé le pain avant la cuisson. L’ingrédient roi du Pain de Triora, présent dans la liste nationale des Produits Agroalimentaires Traditionnels (PAT), une sorte de label de qualité, est la farine de type 1, plus riche en fibres, vitamines et sels minéraux, par rapport aux farines plus raffinées. Si vous n’avez pas la chance de passer par Triora dans un après-midi de la semaine pour le gouter directement chez le boulanger Asplanato, à peine sorti du four, vous pouvez le trouver dans les points de ventes des principales villes de la Riviera Ligure et de l’arrière-pays.

ALESSANDRO ODDONE (BARBECUE)

PARC AVENTURE

Dès que nous commençons à parler de barbecue avec Alessandro Oddone, expert de cette pratique qu’il exerce depuis des années dans le temps libre de son travail à la Mairie de Taggia, l’envie nous prend de goûter à ses plats. Il faut d’abord souligner que le barbecue dont nous allons vous parler ce n’est pas celui que, dans l’imaginaire colectif, est représenté par les ‘’grillades’’ avec les copains. Le barbecue de Oddone est la vraie technique de préparation de la viande, telle qu’elle est conçue dans le Sud des États Unis. ‘’J’ai découvert le barbecue il y a 5 ans, lors d’un arrêt de travail ‘’forcé’’ – raconte-t-il Oddone - grâce aux emissions de télé et aux livres. Puis j’ai fréquenté un cours où j’ai connu deux autres amateurs et nous avons décidé de former une équipe que nous avons appelée Smoking Bad BBQ Team’’. Une équipe très unie qui au bout de deux ans a participé à plusieurs championnats réservés aux experts, avec de très bon placements. ‘’La première année nous nous sommes déjà classés premiers dans un championnat et troisièmes et quatrièmes dans un autre. Un bon départ’’. Mais en quoi consiste une compétition de barbecue ? ‘’Il faut d’abord dire qu’elle se déroule sur deux jours, car la technique prévoit la cuisson des morceaux de viande loin du feux. Cela signifie que pour cuire la viande il faut 15 heures environ, avec un résultat merveilleux en terme de goût et tendreté - explique-t-il Oddone – la compétition prévoit la préparation de quatre plats : un à base de bœuf, un de poulet, un avec les côtes de porc et un avec que du porc. Une fois préparés et cuits durant toute la nuit, les plats sont portés devant six juges qui, en privé, en évaluent l’aspect, le goût et la tendreté. L’ensemble de tous ces jugements détermine le classement ‘’. Comme jadis Oddone et ses copains ont participé à beaucoup de compétitions en Italie comme à l’étranger et l’année dernière ont été invités à l’American Royal de Kansas City, la plus grande compétition de barbecue au monde, où l’on peut participer que sur invitation. Ils ont été remarcables aussi dans cette occasion. L’équipe de Alessandro Oddone, Luca Contri et Marco Manzani donne rendez-vous à tout le monde au championnat italien à Perugia et Modena au mois de septembre et au Championnat du monde en Irlande au mois d’octobre.

Imaginez de fermer les yeux et de passer du magnifique littoral sableux de l’extrême ouest, avec sa mer bleu et les grandes plages, au vert des bois qui s’enfoncent dans l’arrière-pays le plus sauvage. Deux mondes si divers, enfermé dans 15 minutes seulement. Vous n’y croyez pas ? Ouvrez vos yeux et vous allez découvrir que vous n’êtes pas en train de rêver. À Airole, bourg magnifique situé à peu de kilomètres de la ville de frontière, se trouve un Parc Aventure pour tout âge. Voulu par le maire Fausto Molinari, il a été inauguré il y a trois ans : il est à 700 mètres sur le niveau de la mer, à côté des précieux vignobles du Rossese et, surtout, avec une vue imprenable. ‘’Notre Parc Aventure et vraiment complet et spectaculaire – raconte le maire de Airole à Sanremo.it- Il y a trois parcours : un plus simple, pour les enfants de plus de 5 ans, un moyen et un de haut niveau, les deux pour adultes et experts, car ils sont particulièrement durs. Entièrement plongé dans la verdure, il permet de sauter d’un arbre à l’autre à des hauteurs qui arrivent jusqu’à 15 mètres. Le parc est géré par la Pro Loco du lieu qui le conduit admirablement et qui organise tous les ans des stages de perfectionnement pour les opérateurs, afin de garantir aux visiteurs le maximum de sécurité. Et ce n’est que le début, car dans le parc on peut aussi organiser d’audacieuses fêtes d’anniversaire avec 10 invités minimum. Qu’y-a-t’il de plus amusant que de nous transformer dans des petit ‘’Indiana Jones’’ et passer un après-midi amusant en plein air, tout en faisant aussi du sport ?

LIGURIE FREERIDE : CERVO, ANTENNES, SAUT DANS LE BLEU Le parcours des Antennes à Cervo, avec des sauts consécutifs et un beau jump (la houle), est sûrement le plus connu du Golfo Dianese Bike Park. Son fameux ‘’saut dans le bleu’’ est un tremplin sur la mer devenu célèbre dans toute l’Europe : une rampe de terre et rocher qui, pendant une seconde longue comme toute une vie, fait librer en l’air assez haut pour qu’on n’arrive plus à voir que le bleu de la mer, comme si la terre et le sentier n’étaient plus là. Ceux qui l’ont essayé ont commenté ainsi : ça coupe le souffle tellement c’est beau. Single track généralement guidé avec quelques structures paraboliques en bois et terre le long de 4 kilomètres environ, le parcours Antenne peut être emprunté sur quatre variantes minimum. Le saut dans le bleu, né de l’engagement d’un groupe de pionniers du freeride dans le Golfe de Daino, est sans doute la descente plus panoramique de la zone : donnant sur la mer, avec vue sur le golfe de Diano Marina et celui de Andora (jusqu’à voir l’île de la Gallinara) et de Finale Ligure, pourrait être l’emblème de la Ligurie puisque il s’étend sur une verticale parfaite, injoignable, presque antigravitationnelle. Ici la conception de droite et gauche est dépassé, il n’existe que le dessous et le dessus. Cervo est presque irréelle, peinte sur le flanc du col, tandis que autour les routes grimpent lentement, en montrant derrière chaque virage, le bleu intense et lointain de la mer. Le sentier, techniquement complet, présente terre, cailloux, rochers, rives et serpente dans le vert des buissons d’euphorbe, bruyère et lentisque, en traversant aussi ruines et pinèdes. La beauté sauvage et primitive de cet endroit peut ne paraître qu’une langue de terre, poussière et cailloux qui tourne vers le sud, mais pour ceux qui la fréquentent c’est tout un monde : un territoire parfait, qui n’a besoin de rien d’autre. Ce n’est pas un cas si quand quelqu’un accompagne des groupes dans la zone, se voit demander de pouvoir aller voir le célèbre ‘’saut dans le bleu’’ : un rêve !

LA VOIE DU SEL La Voie du Sel est un parcours ancien qui, déjà dans l’antiquité, reliait les montagnes de Côni (par la vieille route militaire Limone-Monesi) avec la mer, soit du côté Est, de Vintimille à Sanremo, que de l’Ouest, vers la Côte d’Azur. Sur cette route en terre autrefois circulaient voyageurs, commerçants, bergers avec leurs troupeaux, pèlerins et muletiers. Grâce à ce tracé on échangeait le sel venant de la mer ligure ( qui servait pour la conservation de viande, poisson et olives) contre les produits de l’agriculture piémontaise. Restructurée depuis quelques années, la Voie du Sel est maintenant un parcours ludique – agonistique à emprunter en voiture ou moto tout terrain, quad, VTT, à pied ou à cheval. La route est à péage, le transit est réglementé et elle n’est accessible que l’été. Le long du trajets on tombe sur la fortification militaire du Fort Central de la fin du XIX siècle. De là, après plusieurs montées et descentes le long de la crête italienne, on arrive en territoire français où le paysage change radicalement: la végétation, jusqu’à là très dense, disparaît en faisant place à des étendues de roches calcaires qui caractérisent le Groupe du Marguareis. On continue et, regagné le territoire italien, le contexte rechange dans le Bosco del Parco delle Navette. Il est possible de passer la nuit au refuge Allavena en localité Colle Melosa. Une expérience unique, un contexte incomparable. Dans ces sentiers a eu lieu l’année derniere la première Grande Traversée de Limone à Sanremo. Le programme de la deuxième édition du 1 au 3 septembre est à l’étude. Pour les amateurs de VTT c’est un rendez-vous à ne pas rater : le 2 septembre, 9 heures sur selle pour 95 kilomètres de route en terre avec des étapes gastronomiques dans les refuges et les bourgs ligures typiques. Pour les agonistes il y a la ‘’Via del Sale Extreme Race’’, mais il est aussi possible de participer comme cyclotouristes, en e-bike ou tandem. L’événement se termine à Sanremo le 3 septembre avec une grande fête et la course ‘’Urban Down Hill’’ dans les ruelles étroites de la vieille ville. Pour infos : 329270875. À BORD AVEC TETHYS, ENTRE DAUPHINS BLEU ET BLANCS, RORQUALS COMMUNS ET TORTUES Depuis trente ans l’étude et la sauvegarde des cétacés de la Méditerranée grâce au ‘’Projet Pelagos’’ et au Sanctuaire protégé entre France, Italie et Principauté de Monaco À peu de milles de la côte, dauphins, rorquals communs et cachalots, apparaissent. Nous sommes au cœur du Sanctuaire Pelagos, l’aire marine protégée qui s’étend pour près de 90mille kilomètres entre Italie, France et Principauté de Monaco. Tethys Onlus est l’institut de recherches qui, depuis la fin des années 80, étude et surveille les cétacés du Sanctuaire : ‘’ Nous avons été des pionniers – raconte Sabina Airoldi, directrice du projet Pelagos- à ce moment là les données sur les cétacés de la mer italienne étaient nulles.’’ Aujourd’hui baleines, cachalots et dauphins sont étudiés et contrôlés. Tous les matins le bateau Pelagos prend le large de Portosole, à Sanremo, avec à bord les chercheurs et les instruments qui aident dans le survey visuel et acoustique des mammifères marins. On reste de vedette avec les jumelles et l’appareil photo, prêts à donner l’alerte dès le premier ‘’souffle’’ d’une baleine ou à la vue des dauphins bleu et blancs. Chaque animal est photo-identifié, parfois ‘’tagué’’ avec des localisateurs satellitaires pour en suivre les déplacements. À bord il y a aussi un hydrophone, un microphone sous marin qui capte les ‘’mots’’ de cachalots et dauphins. Nino Pierantonio, biologiste spécialisé en bioacoustique, écoute les voix des cétacés et en contrôle le tracé : ‘’Cette immense quantité de donnés est enregistrée et archivée – explique-til – elle sera analysée par la suite, pour étudier le comportement des animaux.’’ Pionnière dans l’étude des cétacés, Tethys l’est aussi dans l’approche à la recherche. À bord de Pelagos depuis des années prennent vie des projets de citizen science : pendant des croisières d’une semaine, biologistes, étudiants et citoyens communs participent activement aux activités de recherche, une opportunité qui réuni tous les ans des amateurs venant de toute l’Italie. Tout le monde a sa tâche à bord : on observe la mer, en signalant tout repérage, on localise les cétacés avec l’hydrophone, on s’excite pour les rencontres ‘’imprévues’’, comme celles avec les tortues Caretta caretta. Les menaces humaine aux cétacés – la pollution, même celle acoustique, le manque de respect aux codes de conduites rédigés pour le Sanctuaire – Portent Tethys à insister pour une activité de sauvegarde et conservation. ‘’Les dernieres données ont fait enregistrer une diminution de toutes les huit espèces présentes dans le Sanctuaire – c’est la constatation de Sabina Airoldi – ce sont des données aux quelles nous sommes en train de chercher des réponses..’’ Cependant, la saison de monitorage et étude 2017 est commencée avec le meilleur des auspices, en portant Pelagos à rencontrer, à la fin du mois de mai, un groupe de 4 rorquals à seulement 13 milles de la côte de Sanremo. C’est le signe que, des fois, la beauté habite bien plus près que ce qu’on s’attendait.

LES FONDS MARINS DE CAPO MORTOLA Grâce à sa position geographique favorable la Ligurie, et notamment son extrême ouest, abrite dans son territoire des environnements naturels très divers, car elle comprend les trois aires biogeographiques propres de l’Italie : alpine, continentale et mediterrannéenne. L’un des 125 Sic ligures (Sites d’Interêt Communautaire, dont 26 sont des sites marins) est representé par la zone autour du Capo Mortola à Vintimille. Ici la biodiversité est particulierement marquée à cause de l’alternance de fonds rocheaux et sableux. Les profondeurs de Capo Mortola sont caracterisées par trois prairies de posidonie oceanique, une éspèce d’algue protegée par les normes européennes en raison de sa grande capacité de regenerer l’oxigéne dans l’eau, ce qui favorise justement la biodiversité. Cette prairie, qui pousse sur des formations constituées par l’assemblage de rhizomes morts et racines où le sédiment reste emprisonné, s’étend même au delà de la frontiere française, elle est peuplée de sciaphiles, animaux et vegetaux qui proliferent dans les zones sombres, en bon état de conservation. Sur les fonds de Capo Mortola sont presents, entre autre, le bivalve Pinna Nobilis et de nombreuses éspeces d’invertebrés, les hippocampes, les girelles et les anguilles vésardes (Syngnathus tiphle). D’une importance particuliére, pour sa richesse de variétés, le gisement de fossils presents dans la zone de plage : de differents types de mollusques, oursins et polychétes. Beaucoup sont aussi les traces fossiles qui fournissent des informations à l’egard de l’organisme qui les à generées. C’est l’Université de Gênes avec son ‘’Centro di servizio di ateneo per Giardini Botanici Hambury’’ qui gère le site. Le SIC Capo Mortola, qui appartient à la région biogeographique méditéranneenne, est situé dans la commune de Vintimille, entre le côté ouest de Capo Mortola et partie du bassin idrographique du rio Sorba, pour une extension de 50 ha environ, dont l’altitude la plus élevée (260 m) se trouve au sommet nord dans la localité Mortola Superiore, tandis que la plus basse correspond au zero du point d’embouchure du déjà nommé rio Sorba.

Sur les hauteur de Menton, avec une vue à couper le souffle, à deux pas de la frontière italienne le restaurant ‘’Mirazur’’ et son chef Mauro Colagreco sont depuis des années sur la bouche de tous les estimateurs de la haute gastronomie. Le célèbre restaurant a été classifié le 4e meilleur au monde par l’estimé magazine gourmet ‘’Restaurant’’. Une accréditation qui s’ajoute aux plusieurs déjà reçues par le jeune chef d’origines italo-argentines. Cette année il a été récompensé avec le ‘’Ordre Nationale au Mérite’’ par le Ministère des Affaires Etrangeres français. En 2013 Colagreco a été consacré ‘’Grand Chef’’’ par Relais et Châteaux et l’année d’avant son restaurant a eu deux étoiles Michelin. C’est un curriculum enviable celui du quadragénaire génie des fourneaux qui, ayant fait ses premiers pas en cuisine avec les top chefs du monde, il a appris l’art fine de la création d’expressions culinaires qui charment les yeux et les bouches les plus exigeantes. Alain Ducasse et Alain Passard, pour faire deux noms, ont accompagné son parcours professionnel qui a débuté en 2002, aux fourneaux des meilleurs restaurants parisiens. Mais attention à affirmer que Mauro est une copie des grands chefs : Colagreco a créé son style, personnel et inimitable. Son interprétation des plats, pour les quels il utilise les produits les plus précieux que terre et mer peuvent lui offrir, lui a rendu honneur en le poussant au sommet de la restauration mondiale.

PARCS AVENTURE EN CÔTE D’AZUR Situé à l’entrée du Mercantour, précisément à Casterino, Commune de Tende, le parc aventure Accro des Merveilles accueille des parcours amusants dans les bois de mélèzes centenaires. Les activités diverses pratiquées dans ce parc, aussi bien ludiques que sportives, en représentent l’attraction principale. C’est une destination idéale pour enfants, groupes de copains ou de collègues et, naturellement, pour les familles. Dix parcours aptes à tout type de préparation physique et à tout âge. Les activités prévues sont dédiées à tout esprit aventureux âgé de 3 à 79 ans. Pour les groupes les plus intrépides le parc offre la possibilité de s’aventurer sur les parcours aussi la nuit, en s’éclairant avec les lampes frontales. Assurez le mousqueton à la corde et en route !! Les dix parcours, qui ont différents niveaux de difficulté, serpentent d’un arbre à l’autre, reliés entre eux par des ponts de singes, des tunnels obtenus à partir de tonneaux en bois, des cordes tendues entre les plateformes. Un autre bijou pour les amants des activités en plein air, est la tyrolienne la plus longue de France, toujours dans le Parc du Mercantour. Elle se trouve à La Colmiane, à un’heure de la côte, et elle est ouverte l’été comme l’hiver pour permettre aux audacieux de jouir d’un panorama unique sur les forêts et les lacs de la région. Une experience à ne pas rater pour ceux qui aiment les émotions fortes. Les lignes de tyrolienne disponibles sont deux, pour une longueur totale de 2.633 mètres, parcourus à une vitesse qui peut arriver à 130 km/h. LA RÉSERVES DES MONTS D’AZUR – UN SANCTUAIRE DE LA NATURE DE 700 HECTARES À seulement 50 kilomètres de Nice se trouve la Réserve des Monts d’Azur où, dans ses 700 hectares, la nature sauvage est sauvegardée. Un véritable mosaïque de paysages entre falaises rocheuses, étendues de pelouses et boisements remarquables où vivent en liberté bisons européens, cerfs , chamois et sangliers. Les petits chevaux de Przewalski sont certainement parmi les espèces plus bizarres qui peuplent la zone. Ils ne mesurent que 120 centimètres au garrot et c’est la race équine la plus ancienne, déjà représenté il y a 30mille ans dans des gravures rupestres. Mais ne vous laissez pas tromper par l’aspect de cette race gracieuse : les chevaux de Przewalski ont un caractère fort et agressif, qui leur a permis de survivre jusqu’à nos jours. Pour un plongeon dans la paix comme seulement la nature sauvage peut offrir, il suffit de participer aux safari organisés pendant toute l’année. De la promenade d’une heure et demie au safari en raquettes à neige au safari en calèche. La réserve vous offre la possibilité d’apprendre à connaître la flore et la faune qui vivent sur le territoire. Des activités ludiques ainsi que didactiques sont prévues pour les plus petits, par exemple la possibilité d’apercevoir les animaux sauvages. Les activité ne manquent pas pendant le séjour dans la réserve, comme les escalades sur le mur artificiel ou les baignades dans les piscines naturelles. La mission de la réserve est celle de rapprocher les personnes à la nature grâce à un écotourisme responsable dans le respect de la nature. Dans ce sens les structures présentes sur les 700 hectares sont des anciennes étables et bâtiments qui ont été ramené à leur ancienne splendeur, dans le respect de la fragilité de l’écosystème de la région et de sa sauvegarde.
